Marina Riviera Cabins — Hotel in Big Bear Lake

the website pictures are not from this complex!!! and I feel it's misguided and false advertisement!! This place was dirty the walls looked fithy and the bed spread was stained, the beds were terribly uncomfortable and sounded like they were broken everytime you moved. There was no creamer or sugar for our coffee (yet the pictures on the website shows coffee and creamer) and there was hardly any coffee pods available. The pillows in the living room were ripped and the floor board broken as you walked into the room.. We paid a large cleaning fee and still had a dirty room and we were asked to dump our own trash when we checked out. No air-conditioner we had to sleep with our windows open that felt unsafe and I was up constantly checking on our child in his room throughout the night. The next morning it was already hot and uncomfortable in the cabin.

DO NOT STAY HERE! The accommodations are squeezed together, no view of the lake and not in the forest. Instead, your cabin is squeezed into a tight parking lot with only a view of the lot and other cabins. It was dirty and old and couches ripped and the bathroom was also dirty. Incredibly uninviting environment. In addition, the internet did not work the entire stay. When brought to owner's attention, she kept making excuses and said it would be fixed but never did. Then to make matters worse I see a 125 USD cleaning fee (for one night) for a dirty, old cabin that had no internet. Please, please don't stay here. You are wasting heaps of money for a...

The door literally fell off the hinges. The TV didn't work, no ac and the refrigerator actually made stuff hotter but made a horrible loud sound. The kitchen tiles were held together with blue tape. The cabin was so filthy, there was gross black stuff on the towels, blood stains on the bedding and the ceiling fans were so caked with black dirt that we were afraid to turn them on. We were unable to cool down the cabin (it was 88°) because the window screen was missing. The host made us wait around for a maintenance person that never showed up.
