While doing a Cabin flip in Big Bear me and my husband bought a few items at this local DIY store for items needed. Usually we would go to Home Depot but since the nearest one is way to far we decided to buy from DIY.
A few weeks after finishing the flip we came to returned some items and turns out we didn’t have all receipts for some of the returns.
Linda the cashier was super nice, and called her manager Renee Cirrone which was no help at all. Didn’t even bother to stop and take the time to inform us why the we couldn’t get a refund. Renee simply stated no receipt and unpackaged no return and walked away. To be in a Customer Service store she didn’t even make the attempt to provide a good customer service.
After waiting to speak with the manager Renee and no luck because she was being a cashier. Linda was very helpful and requested Carlos assistance who seems to also be a manager.
CARLOS and LINDA go above and beyond and should be above the authority that Renee has. The way that Renee speaks to her employees is very very unprofessional.
Well it turns out Carlos and Linda made great team work by looking up the items with the card that we used to make the purchase and got more than $40.00. Something that Rennee Cirrone did NOT DO NOR EVEN MADE THE ATTEMPT TO HELP.
I ask corporate to take a closer look into how Renee Cirrone is running this store. I have my own business and I definitely would not want someone like Renne Cirrone working for...
Read moreI came into town hiking the Pacific Crest Trail needing camp fuel. The first employee I encountered immediately made me feel unwelcome before even entering the store huffing and puffing that I have to check my bag at front counter to shop there. Then the employee whom I tried to do so with at service desk who was struggling to count pennies waved me off. Finally when I inquired to a third employee about propane they pointed to two different directions stating they don't sell propane in the off season. If this store doesn't close, go out of business, or get sold off I'm convinced it's a cartel business front to launder money cause they have no business being in business. Terrible. No sale, and highly recommend anywhere...

There is also an older woman working there, Robin I believe, who was our cashier a few times and she would randomly stop ringing up items and forget what she was doing or if she had already rang the item up or not ...so one time we were double charged for an item, but it was just a few dollars so we didn't go back to have it corrected (plus we didn't want to embarrass her). But the staff is extremely kind...
