The Salvation Army's Pine Summit Christian Camp — Attraction in Big Bear Lake

I just want to say a huge THANK YOU to the Salvation Army pine summit camp. We attended camp on what started out to be a rough week, but soon after we arrived, everything was turned around. The staff at the camp was just wonderful. Each and every time our group, but especially my children spoke to your staff, they were so kind and loving. They went out of their way to make our visit an experience to remember forever. I have to say, your facility was great! Never before have our kids had so much fun at a camp. The zip lines, the paintballs, the rockwall and games that were available made all the difference in the world. The absolute best part of the trip was the praise and worship in the chapel, wow what a beautiful place to worship and experience God. Thank you so much for everything, we will definitely be back! May God continue to bless your ministry....

My daughter attended here for a program through her father and while she was there she broke her ankle and they never called me or contacted me to get her medical help. She ended up having issues with her ankle for a few years after. They were mean and unprofessional. Definitely a low end place. I would never let my kid go back ever again. She was physically hurt and they didn’t do the professional thing and call her parent to take her to the emergency room. She wasn’t able to call me for the entire week. No contact what so ever. The men of our church are the ones who actually went which included my husband and son. Let me tell you this is the first time we have been here and it won't be the last. We have used other facilities in the area and they were nothing compared to this. My men came back and couldn't stop talking about the food, the beds, the zip lining and rock climbing. The human fuzeball, indoor basketball, it just was 10+ stars. The staff was awesome with the Word given by our Pastors and guest Pastors. Yes they are counting the days till next year. Thank you Salvation Army for running such a awesome facility and staff.... God...
