Been coming here since the day they opened. I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt, and hope that we just came on a bad day. Sadly, like everything else, the prices are very high now and the portions have definitely shrunk down quite a bit. My wife got the machaca eggs. She was a bit disappointed at how small the plate was. I ordered the Philly cheese steak, and it was pretty good, although I did notice it was only about 2/3 the meat that they used to put in it. We are definitely getting very sick of this shrink sizing every place we go nowadays. It's already bad enough that you have to pay twice what you did just a few years ago, without the extra added slap in the face of getting half the portion. It was a very slow day, so I wasn't sure why it took forever to take our order. The waitress never came back once to refill the coffee, which I was not happy about. Also noticed on the bill, they dinged me a dollar for a side of mayo. Our breakfast came to over $40. It's just getting to expensive to eat out almost anywhere it...

Finally a young man came over. I asked him could I add a deep fry Ice cream to my order, if it would take long he said sure and if would only take a few mins. At that point Mrs Personality came over and I asked her and she looked annoyed and said it would be another 15 or so and walked away. I passed. I really liked the Philly cheese steak but the fries were cold not even close to warm and soggy. And, I ordered a Polish sausage sanwhich with coleslaw. The sandwich was very good the slaw was room temp but had a good flavor. Overall I enjoy Alpine and would eat there again but I would pass if the same lady was to wait on me. Her personality is nothing like he others that work there. Because of just her I give...

When we arrived there was a couple ahead of us so. The diner was packed so we waited around 30 min to be seated. When the bar and booth was available we were skipped over. Luckily another group was leaving so were given a booth. We waited 20 min to put our order in. Waited another 20 min to have our food served. Groups and couple after is received there food before us. Not once were we checked on, I had to go to the front to ask for any silverware or condiments. We distracted our toddler as much as possible, but when we finally got to eat we had to rush it. Great food,...
