Bismarck Event Center — Attraction in Bismarck

What a joke of a venue! We paid top dollar for quality seats for a rock show. Upon arriving we we seated on the side back of the stage and could only see profiles at best. When expressing concern the staff could care less and blamed the seating on the band. That's fine and dandy, but YOU are responsible for the seating charts on your website and false marketing in this instance. There were plenty of ways this could have been rectified especially in light of the fact the venue was not sold out. Let's not even talk about the lack of beverage options in addition to warm beverage options and being informed there was not one ice cube in the venue. The facility is dirty and run down. Way to showcase BEC the only venue in the area. We will never return and take our money elsewhere...

First of all the bands were great and loved them!!! However my low rating has to do with the venue it's self. This is the second time I have bought premium seats center stage and front row seating. Only to get there and be told they did NOT set up first 6 rows of seating. So all of us that bought and paid for great seats were moved to lower priced seats several rows up and at the very end of the venue. Not at all what I paid for!!!! If I wanted to sit there i would have bought seats there. Have premium tickets to another concert next month so hope this doesn't happen a third time.!!! So just beware when spending the money on great seats, you just might not get what you pay for at this...

Bismarck does a pretty good job at hosting events and bringing the community what they want to see. Just not enough of it sometimes. Personally I’d like to see more concerts !!! Gun shows are always great and so is the circus...vendor shows are fun , especially around the holidays.. bringing in more interesting shows would surely help.. possibly some comedians to give us all something to laugh at and enjoy... maybe some that are not so expensive so everyone has the chance to smile..and as always , the parking situation is bad and it still needs...
