Alright, buckle up buttercups, because my recent rendezvous with uBreakiFix BY asurion, Samsung's premier screen replacement service was less a chore and more a delightful tech tango! I limped in, my beloved phone sporting a crack that could rival the Grand Canyon (okay, maybe a small ravine, but still!), fifteen minutes ahead of my scheduled appointment, fully prepared for the usual waiting game. Instead, I was greeted with a cheerful check-in that was smoother than a freshly polished screen.
The first delightful surprise? They actually had the replacement screen in stock! In this age of supply chain shenanigans, this felt like winning the tech lottery 🤸🏽♂️🤸🏽♂️🤸🏽♂️ Their onsite repair guru, a wizard with tiny screwdrivers, then laid out the total cost with the clarity of a freshly wiped lens. No hidden fees, no sneaky surcharges – just honest-to-goodness transparency.
Now, being the cautious soul I am, I opted for the liquid screen protector, envisioning an extra layer of defense against future clumsy mishaps. Little did I know, this simple add-on unlocked a secret level of awesome. As the technician expertly worked his magic, he casually mentioned that the screen protector installation came with a complimentary internal phone cleaning! Cue the mental fireworks!
Yes, you read that right. While my phone was under the knife (in the best possible way), it was also getting an internal spa day. I can only imagine the dust bunnies and microscopic lint colonies that were evicted during this process. It's like getting a bonus level in a video game, except instead of a power-up, my phone is now breathing easier and probably running faster (placebo effect? Maybe, but I'm rolling with it!).
The entire process was efficient, professional, and dare I say, enjoyable? From the friendly staff to the skilled technician and the unexpected perk, uBreakiFix BY asurion turned what could have been a stressful repair into a surprisingly pleasant experience. My phone looks brand new, and I'm walking away feeling like I got more than my money's worth. 🤮 If you find yourself in the unfortunate situation of needing a screen replacement, I wholeheartedly recommend giving uBreakiFix BY asurion a whirl 🌪️ They might just surprise you with their efficiency and maybe even a little internal phone pampering. 👌🏽💯 (and a newly...

Brought my iPhone 15 Pro Max in to get the front screen replaced. Was quoted $300 for the best OLED screen, which is the only screen this model of phone can have. I don’t know what is or isn’t OLED, so when I picked it up and was shown that everything was working, I assumed that’s what I received.
Starting that night, my phone screen would randomly black out. Buttons and sounds work, but the screen would be completely black. The only way to get it to turn back on would be to plug it in and wait several minutes; this happened several times the first 24 hours. I brought it back in the next day, they did a hard reset on my phone and sent me on my way. Did not fix anything. Aside from my screen blacking out, when it was working, everything was very laggy.
I took my phone into iMechanic here in town to get their opinion and was told I did not receive an OLED screen, but that I got a very poor quality LED screen, which is why my phone was malfunctioning.
I asked the shop several times for a refund, because I did NOT get what I was promised. They only offered to replace the screen yet again and to replace another part in my phone, and to completely wipe my phone, but at this point, I of course do not trust them to work on my phone anymore. I was lied to about receiving a “top of the line” OLED screen and my phone was already in much worse shape than it was went I brought it in.
I BEGGED the owner for a refund so I could take it somewhere else to have it properly fixed; I was denied many, many times, claiming they “didn’t do anything wrong.” I was offered a PARTIAL refund if I gave the screen back, but then I’m left with a completely useless phone without any sort of screen and am still out money, not even receiving back my original cracked screen.
PLEASE pay the extra cost to take it anywhere else more reputable. Take it to iMechanic or Best Buy or even drive up to an Apple Store in...
Read moreIt's truly unfortunate that I cannot give less than one star because if I could, I would. I was referred here by another shop in town which spoke confidently of this location. I brought my dead laptop in to discern why it wouldn't turn on. The technician, who helped me, was very friendly and stated that my laptop would be ready within one week. The following Thursday, after hearing nothing on the shop's end, I phoned to find out if my laptop was ready. The technician with whom I spoke told me the battery had died which was the root cause of the problem. He also went on to say the battery hadn't even been ordered. When I asked why this was the case, he said he was not responsible for the ordering of the part, only for the repair. Furious, I demanded that someone call me back the same day to provide and explanation and updated timeline. Later that day, I received a call back. The person I spoke with said that he had been out and that the battery had not been ordered. When asked if it could be expedited, he said the battery would be in within three to 5 business days. It should be noted, I found the same battery, online, available for overnight shipping. He went on to say that my computer would be available, at the earliest, near the end of the following week. So, in summation, two weeks for a battery replacement that could've been resolved with an overnighted order. The entire situation has taken an inordinate amount of time and was clearly mismanaged. Absolutely steer clear of this place if you're looking for efficiency or expeditious service.
Update I called the day my computer was supposed to be complete, on 04/21. The technician explained that the wrong battery had been ordered and that a new one would have to be ordered in its place. I was told to expect my computer to be completed, at the earliest, in the latter part of the next week. 3 weeks after my devise had been dropped off for a battery...
