A beautifully, well maintained, colorful, relaxing, hmm, thesaurus, adjective, let me flip 🙃 through the pages, give me a minute, hmmm 🤔, picturesque, brilliant, radiant... I have seen more monarch butterflies 🦋 here than my walk or hikes outside! Named after philanthropist and gardener, Carol Hoff Lynch, this expansive Garden is on the North End of Boston and at one end of the Rose Kennedy Greenway. From what information I have gathered it opened on June 7th, 2018 though there is mention of a ribbon 🎗️ cutting ✂️ ceremony in August 2018. It came about from a combination of public and private donations. A $1.4 million donation came from the Lynch foundation. It is hard to believe but there was once the John F. Kennedy Expressway here. I remember the controversy of the removal of the highway to build this park in the center. I had a great time looking at as many flowers 💐 🌹 as possible. The purple 💜 🎵 rain, purple rain! I only want to see 🙈 you 🎵 Oops 😬! My bad! purple 🟣 Angelica gigas was my favorite. The cutleaf cornflower had a large presence in the garden.
