I booked a reservation here last weekend to celebrate one of my friends bdays and our experience was definitely sub par. To start off, I had left the restaurant to get my friends flowers and bday card out of my car. When I came back to the restaurant, the security guy was now at the door and immediately told me “you cannot come inside we are fully booked”. After 10 minutes of going back and forth about how I was already inside and had a reservation he finally let me inside (with an attitude) and said “go straight to your table”. I later went outside with my very attractive Caucasian friend to hit the vape and he randomly apologizes about his earlier behavior. this would have removed the bad taste in my mouth except the fact that he clearly wanted to flirt with her. I hate to throw out the race card but the treatment I received versus my friends (all white) was a bit different and felt racially motivated. The service was horrible. I understand the timeframe that our dinner was (9:30pm) led into the “lounge” portion of the establishment so the kitchen would close and the vibe would turn more clubby. However, from the start of our reservation our server never checked in on our table, every time we needed to place an order we had to wave her down or find her. This place is dark and plays loud music, so we didn’t anticipate having to constantly flag down our server. When the food arrives it was cold (I had to ask a bus boy to reheat it), my food came back out maybe 20 minutes later. Around 10:30/11 our server (without checking if we wanted to order a last round), closes out our tab and places the bill on the table to say “anything else you want you can ask the bar”. I understand her shift might have been over and she wanted to secure her tip but there was no communication at all which was annoying. We definitely wanted to order more drinks and mind your this was supposed to be a 2 hour reservation that ended up only being 1 hour. The establishment closes at 1 and by 12:30 when guests began trickling out and bar orders became scarce they start kicking the last remaining guests out (my group and 1 other) at only 12:30. I had also specifically mentioned earlier that day (by phone) with a host that it was my friends bday and I wanted them to sing happy bday if possible, they assured me this could happen (never happened, never even acknowledged her bday). The only positive thing I can say about this place is that it’s a great business idea. It’s aesthetically pleasing and Instagrammable. The service needs to be reworked majorly. Oh yeah good music, the DJ...

Read moreI and friends dined at wicked yesterday for the first time for a birthday celebration and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. The staff was not accommodating, you couldn’t tell who worked and did not work there as they were all over the place and no where near professional. We had an accident, that was a pure accident where the shot glasses fell down and apologized and payed the total (114$) for them. When asking to get another round & PAY for it they immediately said no, and shouted that we broke the ones before, when we apologized and said we would the second it happened, the waitress and “managers” had a rude stubborn attitude. Accidents happen when working in any restaurant, there was no need to be that mad at customers that just spent hundred of dollars at your business. Working in the industry, I’ve never witnessed employees and managers treating customers as they did. The managers were unhelpful and disrespectful when I tried to address the issues. From the rude behavior to the lack of resolution, and the girl working the bar that was so boastful to say she was manager was something to laugh at but also overall a negative visit. when I approached the management about the service I was met with indifference, disrespect and dismissiveness. The staff's attitude was disappointing, making the entire dining experience unpleasant. I wanted to caution potential customers. Unfortunately, the way they treat their clients falls far short of acceptable standards. Hospitality should be important for businesses, there are better places where your money will be met with the respect and service we all deserve. Wicked does not hold the high standards of north end business and from my experience does not belong there. No one in our group threatened anyone, it was a disagreement and wicked, their employees and their managers handled it wrong. There was no resolving anything or any customer complaints with them. Just like the responses to all customers giving you criticism...
