my family and I had a great day there. One thing happened that kind of soured it for us though: this guy cornered us, grabbed our hands, and put these bracelets on our wrists. My husband, me, and my 11 year old son. Then he handed us a little book to sign. When we politely declined to give him money and tried to give the bracelets back, he demanded over and over that we give him $20. We tried to say no, we didn’t want the bracelets and didn’t have the money to give him, but he kept asking us (including my child) for money and looked inside our wallets when we had them out to show him we had no cash. He came on way too strong.

Aside from that, the little shops are reasonably priced, friendly people run them, and everything was well run and we had no other complaints. I just felt the need to point out what happened so people can be vigilant of people like this and not fall for it. Hopefully something can be done to prevent people from ambushing unsuspecting tourists like that. It was highly inappropriate and creepy.
