At first, I thought I got a great curly cut, but then when I got home, I realize that all of my layers were cut mismatched. My bangs are not even on either side, with one side being completely straight. … She added layers, but didn’t blend them, so It looks like I have a mullet in the front. In fact, she took off 12 inches from some of my layers, which I hadn’t noticed, because I was asked to take my glasses off during the Haircut. I asked for my hair to be brushing my shoulders, but the smallest layer she gave me is literally 2 inches long. I have no idea what curly girl would want that. I started seeing Frank for my hair about 6 years ago and followed him to Pure when he switched companies. Very cool, hip atmosphere. Easy to book an appointment online. If you have curly hair, you NEED to see Derek!!! He is a godsend! He listens to what you're looking for, what you're currently unhappy about with your hair, and will work with you to get the look you want. They also stock DevaCurl products, which is nice. The staff is friendly and the place isn't too far of a walk from the Orange Line, but there are buses you can take from the Tufts Medical T stop to get you closer.
