SALON EUPHORIA INC — Attraction in Boston

I had a great experience with Shayna at Euphoria. Her place is adorable with a great people watching view of the jewelry exchange district. She gave me a great wash and conditioning with a lovely scalp massage and was very good natured about my nearly impossible haircut goals! I have VERY thin hair after my last kiddo and yet i disdain a boring haircut. I came in with a crappy/messy attempt at a partial shave/mullet-sheek hairdo, a bunch of images of atypical badass haircuts (that are probably pretty hard to try to replicate) and a groupon! Props to her for not throwing me out on my ear! She accepted the challenge with enthusiasm and really good insights about what i actually had going on in relation to what i wanted. She communicated very clearly throughout and paid attention to detail even when her next client came in (my absurd requests probably made her go over her allotted time with me). She was friendly but not overly talkative/forced, which was nice. It was relaxing to just be taken care of and watch folks outside on the street below. She was also very adamant about coming in to take advantage of free bangs and sides touchups. She also clearly had a long term vision for my hair - because what i wanted was not immediately attainable with what i had she talked to me about how we might achieve that later down the line. I appreciate that sense of commitment to my hair goalz. :) My haircut may not be your style but i think that she did as well with a difficult cut (demanding customer?) as this tells me she's quite equipped to do more straight forward do's. She seemed comfortable throughout. I'm happy to have found her!...

I had my second haircut with Shanna today, and I am already excited to go back for my third. Besides Salon Euphoria, there is only one other hair salon that I have ever gone to twice. Shanna listens to exactly what you want and is talented enough to "interpret" it into something stylish, so I always felt like I was getting my money's worth even though I wanted just a simple trim.

The salon itself is very small, but really cute and chill. When you're getting your hair cut, you can people-watch out of the huge windows, and there are cute little succulents in the window sill. I had a great experience at Salon Euphoria which is located in the Jeweler's building at downtown crossing. I got just a regular cut and dry and the lady did a great job. It's a small salon with only 2 chairs. There was only one person working. This was my first time going and I had made an appointment online the night before for 5:30pm.
