I read a lot of mixed reviews before moving in and I was worried that I may be signing up for something that may be too good to be true. To my surprise, this building has vastly surpassed all my hopes and expectations. I'm going on my 3rd month of residency and am already looking forward to staying for years to come. If you have any apprehensions about moving in, I hope this information debunks them.
FIRE ALARM: It doesn't go off randomly or frequently. I heard it twice. (One of which I'm guilt of! - Sorry guys!) It goes off when there's heavy smoke (like frying on a skillet) building up in someoneās apartment and they're not using their fan. I also believe the person has time to clear the smoke before the alarms trigger the rest of the building. When state mandated testing happened, I was given notice in advance to plan accordingly.
NOISE: The walls are so thick, I honestly forget I have neighbors. The noise from the courtyard that I read about in other reviews is only heard if your window or balcony door is open. The windows and doors are so thick, that once they're shut, you can't hear a thing. I'm not even aware anyone is home, unless I walk by their door in the hallway and hear them playing music.
STAFF: (Leasing) A main caveat for where I chose to live was the staff. I wanted to live somewhere I felt welcomed while staying. Austin is a very distinguished and insightful gentleman. He made my leasing process effortless and made sure I was informed every step of the way. Kemmly is heaven-sent. Always easy to communicate with, welcoming to any questions I have and willing to help anytime she was available. If you're reaching out to the leasing office, I suggest speaking to one of them. (Maintenance) When it comes to home repairs, I'm usually very hands on. So, calling the maintenance team is something new for me. The only bad thing I can say is now that I have a maintenance team, I'm not sure if I can ever go back to doing things myself! All my work orders are filled by the next morning, if not same day. Ben is one of the most respectful and informative humans I've had the pleasure of coming across. He always comes prepared with a quick and simple solution. Repairs any problems I have and offers guidance to preventing any others from occurring. (Concierge) Lastly, another one of favorite people would have to be Georges. Your concierge is usually your first and last point of contact before entering your home. His energy has always been bright. He's always going above and beyond to help with packages and reservations. Very stand up and selfless.
NEIGHBORS: Everyone tends to keep to themselves. I'm a very private person so this was a plus. I will advocate for the black community, when it comes to unity. There's an innate sense of brotherhood and community with the people in the building. We all look out for each other, from small things like saying "hello" and helping with groceries.
PACKAGES: As far as packages, all mine are locked away in a room I need a code to enter and geores pings me anytime I have a new one. Probably had over 30 packages come since I've been here and no issues.
All around it's been my favorite living...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf youāre looking for peace and quiet, this is NOT the place for you. Since the day I moved in, it has been nothing but issues, and over time, Iāve just given up. Between the constant loud parties by the pool (when itās nice out, doesnāt matter the season) and neighbors stomping or banging on floors at 3 AM, good luck getting any sleep or finding any peace.
The worst part? The fire alarms. This is the ONLY apartment complex I know of that runs constant fire alarm tests. I donāt mean your average kind of alarm testing either. Try 20ish alarms in a single day, maybe more, iām not sure. Even when theyāre not testing, someone is setting them off in the middle of the night or early morning. If you work late or overnight shifts, avoid this place because your sleep will be disrupted on a weekly basis.
The gym? Looks nice at first glance, but once a few people show up, good luck finding a machine to use. On top of that, the gym is designed so people constantly walk through just to use the bathroom on the other side or even stand in the gym waiting to go to the restroomāsomething thatās both very annoying and terribly designed.
Their version of āluxuriousā living is a front. Everything looks good on the surface until you actually live here. Paper-thin walls, constant noise all day and indifferent management make it clear that this place is all show, no substance. Counting down the days until I can move out. Save yourself the time and look elsewhere.
EDIT: Added some of the receipts so you guys can see what to expect. You'd think to get all the testing done in a single day. Nope, not here. We take 2 full days to get testing done. So that means 2 days of noise, on & off, instead of 1 single event (or even an hour like almost every single other apartment complex). But I'm probably just making this stuff up :) we love noise here though.
2nd EDIT: Just a quick video upload to hear what the alarms sound like too. Of course they have a purpose, but having an alarm in every single room with how loud these already are, is unnecessary. The main hall is full of them, each living space has 1 in the living area as well. Just an overkill & loud to the point where it hurts your ears. Shoutout to the people who think itās funny to pull these during late hours.
FINAL EDIT: Moving out very soon but wanted to mention the one positive of this place before I never step foot in here again. Peter, the front desk concierge. Heās done nothing but going above & beyond. Heās the most kindhearted & caring person that works here by far. If you go into your package room & its organized, make sure to thank Peter & just be nice to him. Everyone knows him & everyone appreciates him. So that being said, Peter, gets...

This is the WORST, TERRIBLE, and the most irresponsible property I've EVER seen.
First of all, let's not talk about the extremely bad experience, let's talk about the deposit, I've never seen an apartment that owes its deposit for a year, and during that year, they use countless excuses or just don't reply to your emails, and you always get the reply that the check is in the mail, and when you ask for a tracking number, the leasing office does the same thing that they always do! starts to disappear.
Then come to talk about their interesting working hours, Monday to Friday is their stipulated working hours, but when you go to the office to find someone to do something, the ones in the office never have the right to do this or that, only the manager has the right to do it, but the manager is on vacation every day, I came to see the manager on Monday, and I got a reply that he would not come back until Friday, and I am afraid that as for the manager in the end where is he? Only he himself knows.
Regarding my stay, this is the worst place I've ever stayed in since I was born bar none! First of all there is the fire alarm that goes off almost every day and at least 2.3 times a day, I've had a nervous breakdown living here and I'm a student needing a quiet environment to study. Then there's the fact that your Uber eats and packages are always lost. Your Uber eats will be lost as soon as you go down a second late. Your package will be lost as long as you don't take it home on the same day, or even the same day. Lastly, the leasing office. They will always treat you with the best attitude then perfunctory, even sometimes do not want to pretend perfunctory, directly just want to send you away.
If you want to come and suffer and experience the worst of the worst, welcome to...
