My review got deleted so I’m adding it again. “Today I came in for the express discount on the IV for game days with my friend. We both were offered a discount of the compression therapy for $10 each, to which we clarified several times with multiple workers that it was indeed this cost and not the $45 originally. This was the only reason we got the service since we both would never had paid $45 for the service, being college students who work very hard to make that much money. Even $10 had to be considered.
At the register, we were told by Ollie or Olly, the male working with the short blond hair, that we would be in fact charged $45 for both of our IVs on top of the discounted IV price. He justified this by saying that my first and previous visit had been given a free red light therapy, to which they OFFERED me and I had received. He said that this meant we should not be given the reduced price on the compression that we were explicitly and many times told would be a “special $10 deal” by the female worker.
I paid the full price and left. I had to come back to receive a book and frankly had thought about it with my friends and was extremely disappointed and felt VERY taken advantage of in this deception and lack of acknowledgment of our needs and rights in this transaction.
I came back to receive my book, and spoke to this male worker. I expressed myself and my concerns, and he was adamant and hostile when responding that you all are a “business that needs to make money” and that because of my previous services I was not deserving of this discount that I was EXPLICITLY TOLD I WOULD RECEIVE. I said thank you for the business advice given that I am in a buissness school and own my own business, meaning that I KNOW how customer rights and respect works and to this he responded to this by saying he “didn’t need to know about me or my business background” and that it was “clear I did need business advice”
Check the cameras if you don’t believe this! I am never one to complain or give bad reviews but I am frankly livid. It takes time to make $45 up out of thin air and not get to spend that on other things like groceries. I have never in my life interacted with a worker more manipulative, belligerent, and disrespectful in my entire life.
I will be telling everyone I know and my sorority who I previously recommended the place to that this occurred.
When I called back they only gave me this email. Hopefully this gets to you, please note that the other female workers were very kind, other than that they messed up on telling us the price. This is not just about money but about the principal-in a place that advocates for wellness I find it very odd that a worker would exude such hostility and rudeness towards someone who DID comply to a wrongful and...
Read moreAbsolute Chaos – Save Yourself the Time and Go Elsewhere! If I could give zero stars, I would. My visit to Restore Hyper Wellness in Boulder yesterday was hands down the most disorganized, unprofessional, and frustrating “service” experience I have had in years.
I arrived for a pre-booked immunity injection appointment. No one was at the front desk. After waiting, someone who looked like they had just rolled out of bed (and certainly did not appear to work there) asked what I was there for, then vaguely told me to “go on back.” Unsure where “back” was, I wandered into a room where a nurse, who was pleasant but clearly confused, tried to log into her iPad only to admit she had forgotten her password. She sent me back to the front desk.
Up front, there were now three people, including “pajama girl,” clustered around another unhappy customer. I waited, ignored, until I asked a third employee (who said it was only her third day) if I needed to fill something out. She stared blankly, offered no direction, and I stood there another 10 minutes without acknowledgment.
When the first two finally turned to me, it became clear that neither critical thinking nor basic computer skills were in anyone’s wheelhouse. They fumbled helplessly in the system trying to check me in. After nearly 30 minutes, I suggested we start over from scratch, which seemed like an alien concept. At the 45 minute mark, without having received a single service, I walked out. The silver lining is that I went to Alive & Well instead, booked online, and was in and out with my injection in under 10 minutes. The difference in professionalism was night and day.
If you value your time, sanity, and basic customer service, skip Restore entirely. Go to Alive & Well and save yourself...
Read moreI have had the worst experience I have ever had with a business while trying to deal with Restore Hyper Wellness. They double charged me for a month, and when I asked for it to be corrected, they first denied that it was a mistake and then finally agreed that it was their mistake said they would refund and I would see it in my bank statement in a couple days. Couple days go by, and they said give it a couple more days. After a week they said that they never offered a refund and that I was just going to get twice the service. When I confronted them with not wanting more services, again they said they would refund, again it did not happen. They have giving me the run around several times, telling me to talk to different several different people including district manager. I have talked to 4 different managers over the course of 2 months and they will tell me one thing and do another. I canceled my membership while trying to resolve this and they charged my credit card again after my cancellation!
This is not to mention that the services are not great. They are casual and unprofessional with some people that are seeking relief from stressful issues, intake interviews in public areas, an individual pass out while they where unattended on an IV drip. The sauna was not getting up to temperature for weeks and they just kept booking appointments and telling people it was fine at 129 degrees unless the client knew better in which case they would just lie and say it would be fix next week.
I was so excited about them opening a location in Boulder and being a a life long Founding Member so I could enjoy biohacking for optimal wellness. But unfortunately they can not be trusted in any way and have shown a real lack of integrity...
