Escape Room Breckenridge — Attraction in Breckenridge

Spent a couple days in breck and searched for some things to do. Signed up for an escape room with this company and we’re so happy with the experience we came back the next day to do another room. They have an abundance of time slots available to suit you’re schedule and have several different rooms to choose from. We’ve done escape rooms in Denver before and I liked these better. The rooms were structured so they were difficult, but solvable. The Denver room we went to had so many “false” clues, it was overwhelming to decide which colors and numbers were actually important. These rooms were clean and manageable. They have some cool effects to add to the sensory experience- very cool. We did the room with my family of four, and each time we solved the rooms at the last minute. The staff is SUPER accommodating and attentive. We almost booked a third room, but we had to get back home. I can guarantee you, next time we’re here, our kids will be begging to go back. They had a blast. My family and I was vacationing in Breckenridge, CO for a week and my daughter who’s 13 saw the advertisement for the escape room on the Bus and was eager to try it out. My partner, daughter and I have never been in an escape room so we had no clue what to expect. I visited the site and to my surprise there was a section I can have a live chat with someone who was able to answer all my questions. Shortly after I signed up for the next available theme which was Captain Steelhook’s Treasure and I’ve entered the promo code I saw on the bus advertising and received and additional discount. Now that moment was here for us to enter the room as we’re giving detailed instructions about using the devices and clues. It was the most exciting, heart pumping, adrenaline rushing experience of our vacation as were were able to escape the room seconds before the time was us. ONE OF THE WORST IVE EVER DONE! My family and I do escape rooms all the time to the point where we have to travel an hour or two away from our home just to get to new ones we haven’t done. Out of all the rooms we’ve done (meaning hundreds) this is one of the worst places we’ve been to. We’ve done all the rooms they have to offer but today we did the mystery manor and there is no directional help at all. You get a piece to a puzzle but it doesn’t tell you what to do with that piece. It’s just try everything on everything and hope it works. I felt lost and confused the whole time and even when we did get a puzzle right nothing obvious would happen to let us know we did it right. For example there is a panel that you unlock at a certain point and we used our third and final clue on it just for the game master to tell us to search around for the loose panel we had already unlocked.
