I’ll start by pointing out the best things about this places and then my minor complaints. The location is phenomenal! And the staff is very friendly and concise in their directions. It was super easy to find our room (1054) per directions although it’s odd that there is a closet with room numbers right off the elevator and no signs pointing to room numbers. The distinction between the rooms and closets was the rooms had laminated paper signs and the closest had fancy signs. I also loved the pool area! There was an indoor area with a small kid slide and then an outdoor area with a basketball hoop. There were also several hot tubs! Big ones too! And they felt very clean. The rec room to get into the pool area was nice and cozy with a gym and lockers and the movie theater/gaming room rental area down the stairs. That was really neat! We didn’t use that but we loved that was an option. The condo we rented was a 3 bedroom with a king in the main room with a a huge bathroom that contained a separate toilet area with a bidet and heated seat and the shower area contained a massive whirlpool tub. The tub was less than stellar though. If any water was in it for any amount of time the jets turned on the blow out the water, which was fine, but it smelled like the cleaner they use in port-o-potties and brown stuff that almost looked like paper towels but was definitely gunk would blow out of it. We used the tub once for kids and then decided against using it again because that was as really gross. All the bathrooms had the heated lights which was a nice feature. There was a little quarter bath by the front entrance too. That was nice with a party of 8. The other bedroom on the main level was 2 queens with a bathroom containing a toilet room and a shower room. There was one more queen bed upstairs but no door. It was a decent size room with another toilet room and shower room and a landing with a great window view. The kitchen was nice and big and looked out into the dining area and living area. The only thing I didn’t like about the kitchen was the fact that there was nothing really in it. There were pots and pans, silverware, and dishes but no parchment paper, foil, or anything like that and we got enough coffee for one day with no turn down service. And before the HOA responds, I understand these are individual properties and things like that aren’t a given but maybe having basic things like coffee and parchment paper could be kept in the condos to make sure guests can fully use the kitchen. We had to walk down to the lobby for coffee after the first day because we only had one packet of coffee for one day. We had an excellent view from the balcony looking out at the mountains and a small creek but only one tiny chair we found in the closet to sit out there. The weather was gorgeous though! The whole condo was super comfy and great for 2 families for a birthday weekend. My only complaints beyond the kitchen and big tub was the fact that several windows did not have screens and just opened wide which is scary for kids and there was a lot of dust. We also tried to use the humidifiers because it’s Colorado and it’s dry but I went to clean one out and found sitting water and really gross sludge like it had never been cleaned. It was also really frustrating because there are no pictures of rooms. There is one set of pictures for the big condos and other pictures for rooms of similar size. Some third party sites had zero pictures. I chose Priceline because they actually had pics but I couldn’t really get a clear idea of the rooms and property from the website for the Village itself. It would be nice to have multiple ideas of rooms. It showed bunk beds in the 3 bedroom condos but we got 2 queens and that wasn’t in any description for any site we looked up. We definitely will stay again but will try harder to find exact pictures of the condos because our kids were super disappointed by not having bunk beds. We had a great stay though and the property is amazing! Being so close to main street is priceless!

UPD: the hotel also charged us $276 AFTER we left for unknown reasons! Stay away!!!! We’ve been coming to Breckenridge for the past four years, staying in different hotels each time. This is by far the most expensive—and the worst. The only thing they have going for them is the location, but believe me, you’re better off staying at Beaver Run. It’s cheaper, has the same outdated aesthetic, but at least the rooms are much bigger, and they offer a shuttle. Here, there are no shuttles and no cleaning service (not kidding—they’ve somehow decided they’re an Airbnb. If you want your room cleaned during a 10-day stay like we do, you have to pay extra). The service is just as bad. I called the front desk multiple times over two days just to get some sugar. After the fourth call, they finally brought... bags of creamer. The laundry situation is another headache. There’s no washer or dryer in the unit—only on the floor. It’s $4 for a washer and $3 for a dryer, which I’m fine with, but you have to download an app to pay, and the minimum load amount is $10. So if you just need to do one wash and dry, you’re out $3 for no reason. It’s the little things like this that add up and make the stay frustrating. The room itself was in poor condition. Two out of three faucets were broken—one in the bathroom didn’t work at all, and the kitchen faucet had such a weak stream that washing anything was nearly impossible. To top it off, we were supposed to receive a complimentary bottle of wine, but we never got it. Six days into our stay, I decided to leave this review and happened to check my reservation—only then did I realize the wine was included. I asked the receptionist about it, and she couldn’t have cared less, simply telling me I could pick it up at the reception. If I hadn’t called, I assume we just wouldn’t have gotten it at all. Save yourself the trouble and book somewhere else. Every single hotel we’ve stayed at in Breckenridge has been better than this one.

I loved my stay at Village of Breckenridge. We stayed in unit 4604, managed by "Kent" which I rented on Air BnB. We stayed 5 nights for a January ski trip. The unit is in immaculate condition, and appears to have been recently remodeled as floors, kitchen, light fixtures and bathrooms all looked brand new, even though the building is not. Kitchen was modern and stocked with all the utensils and supplies to cook in the unit if you want. He already has spices and condiments so you don't have to buy them. He provides free coffee, tea and hot chocolate as well as Keurig pods. The modern sleeper sofa was far more comfortable than is usual for those types of beds. The whole unit was decorated with kind of a modern mountain-rustic-chic vibe. There were nice mountain views from the unit. The building itself is at the base of Peak 9, only a 30-second walk to the Quicksilver chairlift and all the ski shops/bars/restaurants at the mountain base. You are also only a 2 minute walk to Main Street. Easy to walk to all the Main Street action. The unit is only a studio, so the King bed is in the same room as the sleeper sofa, so if separate bedroom is needed for privacy, this unit does not provide it. Also, the unit is small, so I would not come here with 10 suitcases. We were 2 adults with ski gear and had the sleeper sofa unfolded and we had plenty of room. There is an underground parking garage, but a car is not needed in this town. I can't wait to come back. One word of warning: All units in the building are individually owned, so make sure you know which unit you are renting and make sure you see photos, etc. Some units are recently updated and others are not. The toilet, shower and dual sinks are all divided by doors so someone can shower privately while someone else is using the sink or toilet. Very clever design. All in all, a 5 star stay!

The location is just perfect if you want to ski, as the lift is literally next door. It is also a 2 minute walk away from Main St with its many shopping/dinning options.||The overall hotel is in ok shape. They were painting and doing some other work in the lobby during the 5 days we stayed there, so there was always fresh paint smell. I believe they also had some sort of leak one day, so there was a very bad smell in the lobby until they fixed it.||We booked through Expedia, so I am not sure which company or owner our room belonged to. The room had a spectacular view of the mountains. However, it was a bit dated and the furniture could definitely use some renovations, but we didn't have any issues.||I wish they had told us ahead of time that you had to pay to get your room cleaned||The phone app they use instead of a physical card/key is SO frustrating. It logged us out multiple times, had issues accessing our room, elevator and facilities constantly. We had to go to the lobby so we could get assistance.||Overall even with those issues, I would probably consider returning, except for the fact that we experienced the WORST customer service of our lives from the lady at the front desk who literally yelled at my wife and threatened to call security when she went to ask for help as the app to enter the room was not working. The lady insisted that we had checked out from the hotel (we had 3 days left) and when my wife showed her our reservation, she yelled (again) that the system had an issue and that she had to go back to the room and try again. When my wife asked if she needed to make the line at the lobby again (she had to wait 10 minutes as the lady was helping another guest), she yelled at my wife once again and told her that she had to make the line again.||My wife's cousin asked for her name as she was being very rude and she yelled at him and threatened them that she would call security.||After finding out what happened, I tried to get in contact with a Manager and talked to another guy in the front desk who told me he was the shift Manager. I told him what had happened and he apologized and said he would make it right.||When I tried to talk to the lady to tell her that what she had done was wrong and that she owed my wife an apology, she yelled at me and made me lose my temper. She also threatened to call security.||The next day I talked to the shift manager again who was very upset with me and told me that I shouldn't had talked to her employee and that it was wrong for me to lose my temper with her and talk to her directly after he told me he would take care of the situation and would call me later that night. I agree that I shouldn't have lost my temper with the lady, but I was really upset at that point and could not tolerate a customer service person to humilliate and yell at my wife in a very rude way when all she needed was help to enter our room.||The story ended when the lady from the front desk called my wife on the phone and apologized. But at that point, all we wanted was to get out of there ASAP. We would not recommend to stay here unless you are ok being treated in a...

We had to go to the lobby so we could get assistance.|Overall even with those issues, I would probably consider returning, except for the fact that we experienced the WORST customer service of our lives from the lady at the front desk who literally yelled at my wife and threatened to call security when she went to ask for help as the app to enter the room was not working.
