Look no further! This place was absolutely amazing for our family trip. I'm a massive researcher and literally looked up every single Hotel in St Louis before making a decision. We stayed here during Spring Break - so about a month ago. I chose this location based on the following; Parking - there is easy parking on-site and free. Breakfast - free breakfast available every morning and we absolutely loved the breakfast options. Our family of 4, Even with special food needs such as dairy free and gluten free, were able to make a great and full meal every morning. Kitchens - I didn't know if we would use the kitchen but I loved knowing it was available. We mainly utilized the coffee cups and full refrigerator, but I did cook a full meal once during our 4 day stay. W/D available - I didn't know if we needed a washer and dryer available, but it made me comfortable knowing they were available and on-site if needed. We did end up doing two loads of laundry during our stay. Indoor pool - this was a request by my kids and we enjoyed the pool every night. Sometimes a few other people were in there but it was never too crowded. Gym - the gym was available 24 hours and my husband and I would alternate going, either while the kids were sleeping or during other downtime. We were impressed with the options available in the gym. Staff & Rooms - my husband wanted to be on the highest floor and was optimistic for a great view. They did have the option while I was booking online, to request an upper floor. We ended up getting the 6th floor out of 7. And his view was the back of home depot lol. But we were still happy and our room was perfect. We booked the double queen bed room and had a cute reading nook in the corner that we all loved. And the staff was all very friendly and helpful! We truly had an amazing stay and so glad we chose this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy husband and I travel back and forth across the country every year leaving the grey winter skies of New York for the perpetual sun of my home state of Arizona. In December, we stayed at this TownePlace Suites location, and were helped by a lovely and kind front desk agent named Lans. We stayed there one night in a 1-bedroom suite which was comfortable and quiet. Access to the location was easy and the room was clean, quiet and restful, which was much appreciated given we were at the end of the first day of a two-night, three-day trek. On our return trip over the recent Easter weekend at the end of March, we chose to stay at this location again given our previous positive experience. As soon as I walked into the lobby I recognized the attentive young man, Lans, who had helped us back in December. Lans was equally helpful on this visit and when asked, suggested a couple of local restaurants he though were particularly good. He was right too! We ordered from Salt + Smoke, based on Lans' recommendation, and it was 100% delicious. For those who are focused on things like the hotel having a pool, while we did not use the pool, it looked clean and there were a number of families with small children who seemed to be having a ball in that area. There is also a full self-service breakfast which includes a lot of items (waffles, grits, eggs, sausage, an array for breads and pasties, juices, coffee, and on and on). We had a quick bite of the breakfast which is a very straight-forward offering. This is not fancy but would be great for families with kids or for anyone looking to grab something quick and get on the road; worked perfect for us in this case. We will very likely be back again to this location in the future and would recommend it as a convenient and welcoming...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is the 3rd or 4th time we've stayed here (I say 3, wife says 4 š) and this time was definitely our least favorite. We'll still try it again but the amenities weren't up to previous stays. I have booked the same style of room (1 King + Sofa Bed) every time, and we got that... But DANG was it tiny! There was literally 6-8 inches of walking room. The bathroom was overly spacious and the room could've used some of that. The breakfast was rough too. Previously there were waffle makers, oatmeal, and other great hot options. This stay had eggs š and shredded cheese š. While I give props for including a meatless "sausage", the standard pork sausage was mislabeled. The waffle selection was mismanaged. They offered a "waffle with pearl sugar", which is fine bc we've had those at other places. BUT instead of leaving the waffles in their single serve pouches, the employee was standing there opening them and putting them in the service container. 1) that's unnecessary touching by the employee & slobs who don't know what tongs are. 2) if kept in its package THEY WON'T DRY OUT. Also 3) in its package it's a perfect food for the grab and go guests.Every single staff member we interacted with was AMAZING! The front desk, housekeeping, etc were all wonderful. We will be back, but definitely might need a different approach...
