It's on the upper level of the mall right next to Burlington. They have everything from arcade games to basketball to bowling (in a type of arcade format). They have pinball machines and air hockey, too (my personal fave). You buy a card, and load it up with the amount you wish to spend. They charge you $1 for the card, so even though I put $30 on it, which entitles the purchaser to an additional $5 credit, they charged me $1 for the card, and only loaded $29, which gypped me out of the additional $5 promised.
We played for about 1.5 hours, and the tickets you win accumulate on your card. At the end, we went to check out, and the owner (older man in his late 50s) told us we had 170 tickets. There was this weird pressure to make a decision right away even though they weren't busy, and there was no one else at the counter. When someone did arrive, the owner said, "Well, we'll have to boot you out of the system because you're taking too long," which I thought was an odd statement since the tickets never expire, and you can keep accumulating them each time you come in. There was a young man named Atticus, who looked to be about early 20s, who was extremely helpful and friendly. He checked us out, and helped us choose an item to redeem our tickets.
There are quite a few choices to redeem your tickets, some upwards of 4,000 tickets, and it makes since that people would choose to save them for a...
Read moreWe came every year for my daughter birthday and we also introduced this place to friends and family because their arcade games were fare and you can win but this year I spent 410.00 dollar and I won 2 smallest plushies that worth 5 dollar for both of them! Last year I brought my daughter and her friend as well and I charged their cards 100$ each and the won many things even though all togethers they were like half of the price we paid and yes we understand the store have to make profit and we were happy and no complaints. But this time kids were crying for loosing all their money and not winning anything! Before was 50% chance to win but now if not zero it’s 01% winning rate! I really hope the people responsible fix this and not ruining that place for some profit and then loose 90% of their customers. I sadly not recommending this place to anyone specially little kids they gonna get upset for not...
Read moreBurbank local here 🙋this place is so special and ‘80s-coded. Nothing like it exists anywhere else: a mall arcade, family-run, small, safe, and really old school. The customer service is something you don’t really see anywhere else these days — and that goes a long way — and I’ve never felt ignored or mistreated or negatively affected by the staff. It’s also always clean and shiny, which is so rare for an arcade lol trust me, this place probably has a professional cleaning staff — buffed to a sheen. Much cleaner than the mall it’s located in! Support it and keep small businesses in Burbank around for as long as possible. Oh and they also have...
