We checked out the New Culver's in Burlington, NC. We heard mixed reviews mainly about wait times...( but the restaurant is new so that should be expected) We went on a Saturday around 12:00ish during the lunch rush. There was no parking open in their lot, so we parked in the lot adjacent (In front of Sir Pizza) Upon entering Culver's, we faintly heard someone say " Welcome to Culver's" we waited in line for about 3-4 minutes before making it to the register. All staff behind the counter were super attentive and helpful to guest ordering , eating in and taking out. The restaurant was super packed. We placed our order and one of the manager asked if we had " Culver's Custard " before we both said no and he gave us a free vanilla/chocolate mixed custard for free. He said , " Enjoy dessert before lunch" We were given our dine in numbered card and cups. Upon going to the drink/condiment station everything was super neat and clean, restaurant was also clean.
A young man name Esthen who was great! He held us find open seating in a busy restaurant. We waited 8-10 minutes for our food to come out. Another young lady name Jade brought out our food and asked if there was anything else we needed. Asked for additional condiments and she brought them out quickly. Food was hot and made as ordered. During our meal Nick came around and asked how everything was, and if we needed anything else. Prior to conclusion of our meal, Esthen came back around and asked if he could take our trays/trash and we said yes. Overall the customer service was outstanding! Making sure customers have what they need is important. We both ordered Crispy Chicken Sandwich Baskets. If you are in the Burlington, NC area, give...
Read moreEdited: The owner reached out to me, and explained how absolutely unexceptionable it was, with the way they handed my daughters egg allergy. She is also an allergy mom, and in fact takes things like this very seriously. I am definitely willing to give this place another chance, and look forward to the management being more educated on allergies. I appreciate the owner Britany taking this seriously, and fixing the situation.
I was excited to try the new Culver on university, but their lazy coworkers ruined the experience. My daughter has a severe egg allergy and she was hungry after we waited in line. I asked if their chicken nuggets were battered with egg or just milk. They told me they didn’t know, I asked if they could check like every other restaurant would do, as I need to know what she can eat, anything here… especially being a first time customer. The window lady got a manger, after refusing to check the box multiple times. The manager (BRE) told me they weren’t going to walk to the back and get the box to check… that we were too busy (which they weren’t) she said that they’d suggest I don’t get her anything, because they wouldn’t look at a box….. which takes two seconds. They then told me if I wanted to wait a a long time they would check when they were able. Obviously I couldn’t wait 30 minutes. I am very displeased with their services and laziness! Now I’m having to go to another restaurant, who actually cares about their customers! Very disappointing. I hope they never have a child with severe allergies, and get treated so poorly due to...
Read moreWent to this Culver's in Burlington North Carolina on New Year's Eve. Looked at the website and noticed they were open until the regular closing time not sure what that is but this was like 7, 7:30 at night. Got there, ordered to eat there because a storm was coming. Got our number, sat down. They came by once and said the order would be there shortly, and a few minutes they came by a second at a time and said that we had to take our order to go because they were closing up. First we heard of this on New Year's Eve, nothing posted on the entrance. If they were told us this when we ordered, we would not have ordered and we would have gone to a Mexican restaurant to eat. So I went and talked to the manager. Unfortunately the manager lied to me and said that they would put the money back on the credit card for a order we did not receive, because well, we've already been there for 15 minutes, did she? NOOOOOO, THAT WOULD BE A BIG FAT NO. So, about 3 days went by, still no refund. So we had to deal with THE LIEING MANAGER AGAIN. Drove the hour and a half drive back to get all our money back. The manager would not even look at me. She knew who I was. Not many people wear a maroon trench coat out of wool with a top hat on. 🎩 Got the refund, but no apology. Culvers main office was called. The Culver's in the north, Ohio and above are awesome. So no more Culver's for me again until I get back up north. MMMMMMMM...
