California Burritos — Restaurant in Burlington

This place is legit Mexican food! I grew up in SoCal /Tijuana, area my whole life, and the burritos are authentic "burros", better than your other burrito places in the area, and I like #oe's alot. I finally have "MY" burrito place here in Burlington NC. A piece of home right here in my backyard. They will take care of you! Excellent customer attention. Will make you want to go back for lunch and dinner the next day. Good pico de gallo,, freshly grilled seasoned chicken, soft tortillas, seasoned pinto beans or black beans, and on top of that seasoned fries!!! GAME CHANGER!!!! All in a burrito! Sooooo good!! Very flavorful!! Today was my first try, and I'm coming back tomorrow. I WILL be on a first name basis here. It's good, like really good. Just come and try it!! Wasnt welcomed in. As i waited in Line my boys both under 3 by the way were turning on & off the fridge behind me as i was looking at the menu because its my first time in here. No noise was coming from fridge so i had NO idea this lady comes out of nowhere and is like “these are your kids right?” Im like yes “yeah the fridge has to stay on” in the most nonchalant voice. Something in me wanted to go off so i left and made sure my kids weren’t around to go off. Number one there is a better way to approach me and tell me this. Not talk to me like im stupid everyone know a fridge is supposed to stay on. I just had no idea if you werent so busy micromanaging i wouldnt have been standing in line SO long to where they could start touching things because they are KIDS like you were once. NOT KID FRIENDLY whatsoever. How about next time you help with the food and i would’ve been sitting down with them by then. Came back in to express how i felt to a manager her name is Esmeralda and it was a dead end there it was like speaking to another child. No care in the world. Went here for the first time today..found them on Google just looking for something different to eat in Burlington. The food was really really really good! I had the taco salad with vegetables and everything was super fresh and flavorful. The taco salad comes in a fried tortilla shell which was fried on the spot (not sure if that's the norm or not). My lady had the taco salad with chicken and steak and she also gave very high reviews. She did mention that she couldn't really taste the steak but that the chicken was seasoned perfectly. The highlight for me was the mango salsa and the pineapple salsa 🤌🏾👌🏾👍🏾👍🏾 so fresh with a perfect balance between sweet and savory. I also like that they have so many entree choices as well as vegetable toppings. They give free chips and salsa with every order and the salsa is great. If I HAD to give a critique I would say the rice was a little overcooked but honestly I wasn't mad at it. This is the first 'Chipotle-esque' place I've been to where I didn't miss the dressing from Chipotle and if you know about that dressing then you know that's saying A LOT! I'll be...
