I had not heard of Biggby before this location opened, but I soon found myself stopping here more and more often. The coffee drinks are excellent (the Irish cream seasonal drinks are particularly tasty) but the food is what really puts Starbucks to shame. My favorite item is the turkey havarti bagel - it’s a delicious hot bagel with sliced turkey and melted cheese that has NEVER been still frozen in the center.
Most days Biggby has some kind of special going on (eg BOGO $1) and the staff are always quick to offer it to you. On the subject of the staff, they have always been nothing short of delightful. They put the orders together quickly and accurately and their friendly banter suggests a positive atmosphere. I will caution: they are experts at the upsell and it’s not difficult for an $8 drink to become a $14 outing purchase — they make sure you know ALL your options for your drink.
Still, I find the price to be not too much different than Bux but the quality of the products and the less chaotic environment makes the additional few dollars well worth it.
On a note pertaining to this location, getting in and out can be a bit of a challenge, especially if you need to turn left out of the parking lot, but that has no impact on the...
Read moreI just waited 30 minutes for this coffee, (behind only 3 other cars). The girl took my payment, and I sat 5 additional minutes at the window waiting for the two coffee drinks. She opened the window twice after I paid to see what I needed, and both times she apologized and said, “Oh yeah, you’re still waiting for your drinks.” After 35 minutes of waiting, she gave me the two drinks, and mine was not what I ordered, and I asked for no whipped cream. I thanked the girl and took the drink because I know what people are going through right now in this world, and how kindness and patience should be at the heart of everything we do; however, had they not offered BOGO through a coupon today, and the fact that I had a gift card, I would’ve not been there, and I will not be going back. I will always choose local places like Salvation Coffee or Converge for not only their quality and speed of service, but their prices beat this place as well. Again, this was my first time due to having a gift card, but I would not spend money there for anything. I am not trying to insult, but one would think with the wait time, that they could at least get the order right with only 4 cars in line. Thanks though, the coffee was...
Read moreWas hoping to use their catering for coffee and hot chocolate at my wedding in mid February. Was referred to them by another Biggby and told how nice they are. Spoke with Melissa in January and thought we were getting somewhere. She needed to ask a question of the owner so she had to follow back up with me. No problem, she said she’d call back the next day. I waited three days with no call. I call and Melissa isn’t there so I leave a message. A week passes. I call AGAIN and she’s there but she can’t talk, so I leave another message. Now it’s 10 days til my wedding and they are still radio silent. The other Biggby who referred me even said they’d reach out on my behalf. Still nothing. I have other bad life events going on so it may just be me but I can’t help but feel ignored and that they were just hoping I’d give up. I wanted to give Biggby support because I liked them, but I feel hurt and extremely let down. Guess I’m stuck with Dunkin instead…
Edit to respond to owner: that’s all I was honestly trying to do was get to-go boxes of these items, nothing fancy. I wish some form of communication could’ve been made so I could clear that up for you if that was why you just...
