How beautiful! We went before the fog rolled in this morning (Cambria can be quite foggy!) and it was stunning. There's a few trails around the overlook and down to the beach, though we didn't go all the way down since we weren't wearing the best clothes. There's some nice areas to set up for a picnic, though I didn't see any trash cans so definitely follow the "pack in, pack out" rule. Dogs are not permitted, so leave your furry friends at home! We saw a few surfers which made me nervous with all the rocks, but the large waves were very nice to watch. Definitely a nice...

We told him this was it but he drove off looking very disappointed. Keep in mind that the beach was hit hard this winter season. If you are looking for moonstones, look for areas of collapsing sand.
