How beautiful! We went before the fog rolled in this morning (Cambria can be quite foggy!) and it was stunning. There's a few trails around the overlook and down to the beach, though we didn't go all the way down since we weren't wearing the best clothes. There's some nice areas to set up for a picnic, though I didn't see any trash cans so definitely follow the "pack in, pack out" rule. Dogs are not permitted, so leave your furry friends at home! We saw a few surfers which made me nervous with all the rocks, but the large waves were very nice to watch. Definitely a nice place to stop by!

Great place to visit for a day trip or a weekend. There are plenty of hotels right across the street. There are plenty of places to eat within a 5 minute drive. The beach isn't over crowded like Pismo and other locations. Also its an ideal place to find cool rocks and shells. Perfect place to visit and still keeping your distance from other people.

Beautiful beach with a nice boardwalk above it. Great place to see the sunsets, and to collect jaspers and agates. The hotel proprietor explained that Cambria Moonstones are actually agates. You’ll also find people playing in the water, surfing, and flying kites. Nice pebble beach!

A tourist pulled up beside us as we were headed down the stairs to the beach. He was looking for "the beach all covered with rocks." We told him this was it but he drove off looking very disappointed. Keep in mind that the beach was hit hard this winter season. If you are looking for moonstones, look for areas of collapsing sand. Tons of rocks are buried. I found a couple of thumb-size ones that I gave away to tourists...

Was a nice foggy cool breezy day. The beaches were nice, not too busy and the pebble rocks on the beach were beautiful. Plenty of trails and the California coastline definitely does not upset. One of the most beautiful things about the westcoast! If you want to relax and reset, this may just be the place to unwind and have a nice warm coffee/tea on the beach and be in...
