I took a Hot Power Fusion class with Jeanie and it was honestly pretty terrible. There was construction somewhere in the building, so there was the sound of a jackhammer that sounded like it was in the studio with you, the entire class. The instructor cranked up the music in an effort to drown out the jackhammer, but all that did was create a chaotic atmosphere for the whole class. It was also incredibly difficult to hear & understand what she was saying — and frankly, I hated her instruction style. She went back and forth between soft meditation tones and drill-instructor shouting. I’ve been doing 26&2 for over 20 years, so I have a strong understanding of the sequence that HPF is based on, but I had a hard time following the instruction because Jeanie was not demonstrating any of the postures, I couldn’t understand a word she was saying, and the two students in the first row were doing completely different postures, which was really confusing. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t take another...
Read moreI had an amazing experience attending the largest Corepower Yoga Studio in the nation. Widya's C2 Class was very inspirational. I found gratitude throughout the sequence and in every posture and flow. I was constantly reminded to appreciate what I could do and to continue to challenge myself. The next day my body was tender and tired and still I wanted more so I attended Larissa's Sculpt class. Her energetic cadence filled the studio as she counted down the reps. Larissa pushed my endurance levels with a full body experience. Widya and Larissa left a lasting experience of wanting to sweat more and I cant wait to return to this studio. I'm filled with gratitude with Corepower...
Read moreI love the variety of classes, amenities, and the overall space is great. My only complaint would be the weights and blocks in the sculpt room. They usually smell awful and look as though they were never cleaned. Honestly the smell coming off one of my blocks the other day made me gag. It really grosses me out. I also take classes at a barre studio, and while everyone is stretching at the end they walk around and drop a wipe at your mat and then ask you to just quickly wipe down your equipment before putting it away. Takes no time at all and I love it because I know the stuff I'm using is being cleaned after every person. Could be useful after a sculpt class....
