Brandon the dead set center of Harvard square marked by a tall clock up in the air above the people walking by is Harvard Coop. How is there a dentist of the alternative culture street dwellers lining up against the wall begging for money. You go into the Fable doors these days you see books and books and you wonder why nobody orders that books online with her half the price except for there's nothing more beautiful than finding the book you want picking it up siding to read it or not and looking at the other ones nearby tasting the expensive knowledge and ideas. I sometimes think the best people in book stores are the information people because you can try to stump them or you can let them try to stump you but it mean well you can get all kinds of information.

There are two Harvard Coop at the Harvard Square. One is more like a book store, there are three floors in total, they provide various kinds of books, from academic research, business review, books of learning languages, to magazines and kids books. They also have a cafe at the second floor right next to the magazine area. The other Harvard Coop is perfect for tourists to shop since they provides lots of Harvard souvenir range from sweaters, t shirts, caps, socks, pants, shorts to underwear, they have it all!! *If you show your Harvard student ID or Harvard Conference Badge, you can get a 15% off*

The Harvard Coop is a pretty cool spot, especially if you're looking for a good selection of merchandise. Whether you're after Harvard-branded gear or souvenirs, they’ve got a solid variety. The store is split into two locations separated by an alley, so you'll need to hop between them if you’re looking for something specific. The real highlight, though, is the staff. They’re friendly, helpful, and more than willing to take the time to assist you with whatever you need, making the shopping experience much more enjoyable. Overall, it's a great place to stop by if you're in the area!

Truly depressing. A store once magically overflowing with books is now a wasteland of merchandise. The once-excellent travel books annex is now all shirts and sweatshirts. The upstairs periodicals section is also a thing of the past, a further loss for Harvard Square after the closure of the corner newsstand. A staff member told me the nearest place to look for a literary magazine might be the Barnes & Noble at the Pru in Boston. What has happened? A bastion of intellectualism has become another sad shrine to Ivy League swag.
