My Mother passed away after a long illness. I was exhausted and the person who I hired to prepare the program for tomorrow's memorial didn't deliver. I had spent most of the afternoon creating the program and needed to print something beautiful that would honor my Mom. I noticed an odd line printing in the proof. That was when I spoke with Tyrell. He had been helping another stressed customer. I explained the issue with the prints and asked if he could help. Tyrell skillfully printed an initial copy. There was also the issue of text printing upside down on one page due to the orientation. He accessed the file and without a word quickly edited the document so everything was printing perfectly. Under his calm exterior lies outstanding technical skill and the ability to deliver under pressure. He does all of this while de-escalating the stress of the customer. Tried to ask about it and the provider closed the door in my face. Talked to the staples manager who was very helpful but could not do anything as IdentoGo is a separate business. Several of us that had been waiting finally got the provider to talk to us - turned out the system did not show us as checked in despite sending us a text saying we were all set and should wait for them to text us when they were ready. I no longer had the receipt but the register showed the selling price and the return price. The manager said their store no longer sold that particular style. I did not recall which Staples I bought it at. I just had too many rolls of mailing tape, and they were cluttering my shelf, so I wanted to returned one. I returned one other small thing which was unsatisfactory. It is only because I glanced at the return receipt that I caught this rediculous policy.
