Wood River Studio — Attraction in Cape Canaveral

If you are looking for quality craftsmanship, then Wood River is the place to visit. The studio is beautiful and fully stocked with the most unique salvaged pieces of lumber we have ever seen. Len and Mark greeted us and gave us a tour of the studio. While we waited for Sean to arrive, Len gave us a brief history lesson on where the wood came from. It was all very fascinating. By the time Sean arrived we were sold. It was just a matter of choosing the right piece of wood. Sean helped us decide and we couldn’t be more pleased. We met with Sean a week later to go over the details. It was a very informative visit, and we left, knowing we had made the right decision by choosing Wood River studio to create our table top.

During the making of our table top Sean sent us photos and videos almost daily. He even encouraged us to stop by anytime. Any questions we had were answered immediately.

Our beautiful tabletop was completed and installed earlier than expected.

As a bonus we received a gorgeous custom wooden box (built from the same wood as our table top), with table care products and instructions. It doesn’t get much better than that.

That is NOT what you will get at Woodriver Studios. Once you walk in you're surrounded by multiple pieces of handmade organic functional art. Spend time viewing each one on smooth sliding rollers, take in the beauty of the glowing wood slabs and colorful resin and meet the artists who created them. While it is easy to fall in love with any of those pieces, you have the option to join in on the fabrication of your own individualized piece. Len and Sean are more than happy to help you find the wood that speaks to you and add dazzling resin for a unique item that you won't be able to stop looking at once you get it home. They will guide you through the process and customize the item to suit you. I actually "visited" my kitchen island as it was being made, discussed options and felt a part of the final result. I set out searching the internet as so many of us do looking , scouring and researching! Having an extensive background in design and custom homes construction in the Orlando area, the sky had been the limit. So what now?
