I love this place! We go all of the time. Go-carts, mini-golf and watching and interacting (safely feeding) all of the baby gators. Two fun courses for golf.
Special note: if you have trouble climbing stairs then you may not want to take the mountain course.
Cute souvenirs inside and a counter outside that sells necklaces, rings and artist treasures. Some are pretty costly.
The bathrooms have been clean, and always have soap and paper towels. With all of the kids that come through there, you can imagine why I'm impressed with that. Haha
They have a cute miner's trough/falls for kids to buy packs of stones/crystals and pretend to pan for treasure.
They have the cutest (and some very "talkative") exotic birds. I'm in love with one of them, because he laughs like me and I can't stop laughing with him. They take care of their animals, and that is everything.
You can get your photo taken with the baby gators, and I'm happy to say they seem to truly take care of all of them.
The go-carts are cool, because they are using technology to make the experience even more fun!
All of the reptiles are fun to look at (behind the glass). I'm only excited to see the gators. Hehe
The people here are great too!!!
Would recommend to anyone at any age. They even have a party room for the kids.
It is important to know that you cannot ride the go-carts without closed-toe shoes. I suggested to them to sell boat shoes or cheaper form of Hey Dudes if it could mean more people can go on the go-carts. They would make extra money, and people wouldn't have to leave (essentially giving them even more money).
They couldn't let us go on the carts last time (flops), but we're so kind to give us a discount for when we come back.
I'm most impressed that they keep up with the property, and it makes me disappointed in people when I see so many guests tossing their drink bottles on the ground (they need garbage cans throughout the courses sadly).
It also looks like someone (lacking integrity) took their golf club to two of the mountain walls. Sad to see people being so disrespectful given the owners will need to spend their money to repair it.
If there isn't room in the parking lot, you can park in the lot next door. There is also a good ice cream shop across the street.
Peace and Love, everyone! Enjoy every day like it's your last, and praise God...
Read moreI wouldn’t go here expecting any kind of hospitality or personality, from the woman behind the main counter, the guy over the alligators, to the pit crew guys over the karts. Payed for 18 holes went and played the mountain pass and the karts as a package. The course itself is well kept and was fun to play on and had some decent shade spotted through out. The karts on the other hand I got into the last one on the back of the line and they held me up right outside of pit and reset my kart (electric karts) and they said they were taking the governor off I started the race almost a full lap behind the other racers and they said I would catch up np, they indeed turned the governor on ( I was significantly slower than everyone else on the track) and when I said something to the guy after the race politely confronting him about his shady antiques, (could have just pulled me and wife out and let the mom and her kids go) he just apologized and walked away. I tried numerous times with each worker to make small conversation about their spot and all responses I got were money related. Couldn’t even tell me how many karts could be run at once because We had a lot more people planning to come. Definitely don’t care about the people coming to their establishment. Would have spent way more money for pics and feeding and maybe food had the arcade even more kart rides but the way me and my wife were treated here made me walk out especially since we are from out of town just married and on honey moon. Best of luck to y’all.
Edit: also the kart track is kinda like Mario kart you run stuff over on the track to pick up coins and different stuff and there are supposed to be painted markings on the track telling what’s what but you literally can’t tell what anything is accept the speed bump signs and some of...
Read moreI am absolutely disgusted with the way I was treated at this establishment. My fiance' asked the woman working the outside gift shop (not to be confused with the woman who was working inside-- she was lovely) if we could hold the baby alligator and she told us we only could if we were taking a picture with the animal. That would have been fine had I not witnessed her snatch the gator from the prior guests as soon as she finished snapping their picture with her. Those poor people paid about 15 dollars to hold the baby gator for no longer than 10 seconds each. I was NOT going to do that. Plus, when she handled the gator, she was extremely rough and careless with her, swinging her around aggressively and treating her as if she was an object. I had the leave immediately so I did not burst into tears in front of all the people around me.
Given the way this woman treated me, I doubt this company at all cares for the wellbeing of the animals in their care. All they care about is making money off of them. These animals are used as photo props and not treated as living, feeling creatures. Horrendous! My heart hurts for these animals. I will never give money to an establishment who treats their animals in this manner.
Not that money should matter, but since you all only seem to care about money here, you should know we were planning on buying a shark's tooth from all of you after we visited with the animals, in addition to purchasing food to feed the gators with. Maybe if you guys weren't so greedy here and treated your animals and customers better, you'd...
