Church of the Wayfarer — Attraction in Carmel-by-the-Sea

I am a church secretary at a Methodist church in Fresno. My husband and I found this place while on vacation a year ago. Their gardens are spectacular, just a wonderful place for rest and relaxing that is not full of sand in our sandals! We look forward to our next vacation in Carmel and a special moment of meditation in their garden (it is easily accessible which is very nice after a long day of walking). And we just loved the fact that the sanctuary is open for prayer during the day. Hopefully on one of our trips we will be able to stay over on a Sunday morning and get a chance to attend a worship...

We were touring downtown Carmel and passed this church. We decided to stop and take a walk in their garden which is simply beautiful!! They also had a sign stating that the church was open for prayer which was very impressive. You rarely see this. I highly recommend visiting this...
