Worst experience at any professional art gallery - let alone the original that Thomas Kincaid painted from as an art studio. With his late passing in 2012, I am sure the last thing he would want as his living legacy is for the current art curator and director of sales to rudely shun not just myself but other customers this past Friday 8 September at approximately 10:58am.
When entering, we believed we would be entering a store that would value customers that appreciated the late great artists pieces. But no, we stood next to the sales lady - older white lady with white should length hair - quickly cut any conversation and discussion with other potential customers with “if you want a price, let me know,” then quickly slip away to her desk in the corner.
When I asked how long has the studio been around for, and if she could tell us anything about the artist, she only answered with another question “how did you find this place?” She didn’t care to the answer to my question as I was also with my family of four. We were ready and willing to purchase one of the larger Tangled 24x30 pieces but we changed our mind as we had seen that the artist’s premier store was not only shunning away our business but many others.
Very unfortunate to witness and observe and hope others have a better experience. And to the person operating this location, we hope you find better days to serve others with a pleasant demeanor and...
Read moreI am actually real upset! This was one place I looked forward to seeing and purchasing something for my mom for Christmas. My father use to buy my mom one piece of art each Christmas from Thomas work and after his passing to cancer I wanted to continue this special moment for my mom. I would give it zero stars however 1 star only for the beautiful outside view was amazing. I received no help or even acknowledgement from the lady working there today 11/14/21. She was too busy unwrapping what was boxed up. Couldn’t even see what was inside to purchase. My fiancé and I stood there right in her view for at least 10 minutes staring right at her to get help and nothing! There was no one else there that this worker was helping because we were the only ones there and she couldn’t even acknowledge that. I have no idea if this is just how the people who work in the Carmel city are and treat the younger customers, but I won’t be back! Just horrible service! Sadly, I will be going to another art gallery for my moms big...
Read moreI was fortunate to buy this painting worked on by Thomas Kinkade and his signature. The Studio has lots of different degrees of paintings by Master Artists. There is always something new. I bought the Wishing Well which is professional proof. We finally finished our remodeling and the highlights as the room gets darker, lights up the windows or wet walkways in the picture. Don’t let the passing of Thomas Kinkade stop you from a purchase. There are still paintings by his touch still available. His Artist’s who worked with him, know what they are doing and how Thomas did it and still add to the studios collection producing the same work. Even if you buy a lower grade, you can’t tell. I am just one who will pay for the best even if you can’t tell unless you see the certificate. The Artist’s will still add highlights or clean what you have. You can check them out on the web or sign up for a catalog. Lots of great pictures from canvas to glass. Mine is finally...
