All About Chocolate in Carmel, California, is a delightful haven for chocolate enthusiasts. Nestled in the heart of this charming coastal town, this boutique chocolate shop offers a unique selection of international chocolates that you'd be hard-pressed to find elsewhere in the US. From Swiss truffles to Belgian pralines, they've got your taste buds covered.
While they may not have an extensive ice cream menu, All About Chocolate does provide a sweet cool-down option with six basic flavors. It's not a sundae paradise, but it'll certainly satisfy your cravings.
Now, let's address the elephant in the room â the price. Some may say their chocolates are a tad pricey, but hey, they're just trying to fit into the ritzy vibe of Carmel! It's all about the experience, right?
And speaking of fitting in, the store's name, "All About Chocolate," certainly blends perfectly with the name of the town itself, Carmel. It's like they were destined to be here, adding that extra layer of sweetness to this...
Read moreI was wandering this beautiful town for the car week with my husband and my kids, and came across this lovely chocolate store at Dolores! This is hands down the best chocolate store Iâve ever been to! The quality of their chocolates is absolutely unmatched, rich, smooth, and fresh and full of flavor in every bite. The store itself has such a warm and inviting atmosphere, Probably the largest chocolate and candy shop in Montery county! and the staff are so kind, helpful, and passionate about what they do. You can truly taste the love and craftsmanship that goes into every piece. Whether itâs for a gift, a special treat, or just to brighten your day, this place never disappoints I believe. I tried their Coffee âïž it was 10 out of 10! the salted caramel ice cream đŠđŠwas wonderful their chocolates are out of this world and got a box of fudge and truffles as a gift for my sister.    Read moreIf I could give zero stars, I would. This place is the definition of a tourist trap wrapped in fancy packaging and sealed with pure audacity. We were lured in by what looked like an upscale chocolate boutique, only to walk out $50 poorer and holding six mediocre truffles that werenât even labeled or boxed with basic decency.
Letâs be clear: these werenât artisanal masterpieces. They were average at bestâtiny, forgettable, and far from worth over $8 a piece. Youâd think for that price they were hand-delivered by Swiss chocolatiers flown in by private jet. Spoiler: they werenât.
Even more sketchy? Cash only. Thatâs rightâno card, no receipt, no trace. Just a smug smile from the cashier who conveniently didnât mention the price until after ringing us up. A tiny price tag that most eyes wouldnât even see, just vibes and deception.
Avoid this place like itâs selling expired Halloween candy from 2002. Total scam. Spend your $50 literally anywhere else. Youâll get more chocolate and far...
