Scoups Ice Cream & Soup Bar — Restaurant in Carson City

I wouldn’t have even cared what my ice cream tasted like because the customer service I received here was beyond amazing and I would come back just for that! We had 4 adults and 4 kids come in and Lindsey was EXTREMELY patient, kind, and went above and beyond for us. My sister and her son have a celiac disease and therefore asked for gluten free cones. Lindsey immediately said “would you like me to change my gloves”. (A+++) She then very patiently got all of our ice creams without making us feel rushed or unwanted. After we paid and sat down she then went above and beyond and asked if any of us would like water! Some of us said yes and she quickly got us all water. Lindsey, you are a rock star!!! Thank you for treating us so well!

Cute place. We went here because they claimed to have vegan options (soups.) when I asked which soups were vegan the friendly boy listed off this chicken soup and two others That were also not vegan. I asked about the vegan soup options and he said the soups change daily okay fair enough. Maybe. Add this to your site. When I asked about nondairy ice cream he pulled out a book. (No biggie I wouldn’t be able to memorize all the ingredients either books are helpful,) then told me one had skimmed milk in it. 🤦‍♀️ 🤔 . Hummmmm. 😂 fail for sure. The soup is superb! We have gone here for lunch a couple of times now and have been seriously impressed every time. The best soup I have tried was the shrimp corn chowed. It was just spicy enough to be interesting but not overwhelming. Their soup is the real deal and has a consistence to it that only homemade soup has. It is stuff that you cannot get out of a can and is a little more exotic that I am willing to make myself. The staff has always been super nice to us; they were very professional and tolerant when my 18 month old decide to spill her water EVERYWHERE. I also highly recommend the bread...
