I've been going to Snap for a few years now. I've always loved it because it is not overcrowded, and the equipment I need is usually available when I need it. It does, however, seems to have been poorly run lately.
For starters, the gym is filthy. The floors are vacuumed, but other messes stick around for days. The cubbies don't get wiped down as often as they should, and gym equipment like free weights, mats, and more don't get put away. It's so disorganized that I use a fair amount of time looking for items that I need.
The machines are caked in dust, and the floor around the machines obviously haven't been touched in a long time.
I have mentioned all of these concerns to the company through their website a couple of times over recent months, but I haven't gotten a reply and nothing has changed at the gym.
Now that the weather is warming up, it is HOT in the gym. Unbearably so in my opinion. I'm not sure if the AC isn't working or if it just hasn't been turned on yet, but it needs to be cooled down.

Read moreThe price was right and the proximity to our residence was a big plus. Smaller gym, but not overcrowded. I've only ever had to wait for a bench or machine a few times. There have been a few broken machines, but so far the repairs or replacements have always been fairly prompt. They do offer a few classes and training options.
My biggest complaint is that the wifi has been pretty terrible. I've only been able to connect a handful of times, and usually have to try several times before it successfully connects. Then is often randomly disconnects. I asked about it and I was told they are looking at other options. We'll see if and/or how quickly it gets upgraded.
Update: Wifi is still not working. Won't connect at all.
Update: I got unlimited data cell plan so stopped worrying about the wifi. However, we moved and went in to terminate our membership and were told that we need to give 30 days notice. So we ended up having to pay for an extra month even though we were gone. I checked the contract and it is in there, so if we'd read every word and taken note then we would have remembered, but it would be nice if they communicated that more clearly...
Read moreSnap is the best gym in terms of hours, having it open 24/7 is what is super helpful for me and a lot of other individuals! It seems like the cleanliness of the gym suffers though because of those hours. Messes will go days without being cleaned up or even touched. I am not able to come at times when staff is there so I’m not sure what kind of cleaning is being done when staff is there.
In the gym this week I’ve seen -blood on the cabinet for days -hair stuck to the wall with dirt and grime -dirty toilet -grime on the bathroom doors -trash left on the cleaning stand
I did reach out on the website to staff a few days ago when I noticed these things but wasn’t followed up with.
