My hair was at mid-back before I went in for a 2-in trim. We both agreed (male stylist & myself) that would be about 3-inches down from my shoulder. It goes without saying this would be the length when dried, & I made sure to mention my hair was naturally curly, which the stylist talked about during the about 35-min cut time. This included spraying so much water on my hair it soaked through the cape & my t-shirt was actually soaking wet at my shoulders (the couple who looked at me stunned as I left can attest). I was informed drying my hair, so that it was not dripping wet, would "cost extra." While paying, which had I been in less shock I probably wouldn't have, he ran around & cut a couple more times for good measure...? How could this person possibly be employed at a salon & not have learned about measurements, how curly hair shrinks up especially when dried, & just basic "don't pour water on your client" etiquette? I hope to speak with someone next week about a refund as tomorrow is Easter, & is the main reason I tried to be as kind as possible. But my hair is gone & this was just a really bad experience.

I asked for a sunkissed balayage and this is what I got…I am embarrassed. if she couldn’t deliver what I was asking for, she should have said no and saved us both time and my $100… Also, if you know that your equipment doesn’t work properly…you shouldn’t take on a client who will require a wash as part of their service. She took me to the bowl to wash and the water was scalding, so then she took me to the other sink where I was “rained on” by a ceiling leak the entire time… She said the leak has been there for two years and was well aware. She also knew the other sink was scalding hot. I wish I would have been informed prior to her putting the bleach in my hair. I had no choice but to be dripped on in order for her to get it out. I went in and was offered a 1/2 refund for the service so I can use this money to go get it fixed elsewhere. The manager Wendy was pleasant and understanding. I am happy with my cut, but definitely do not suggest a color service.

This was at the SuperClips store near the Meijer grocery store in Champaign, IL. Tiana was very professional and attentive. She started out and asked what I wanted. I suggested a number 2 all around my head, and she recommended to start out with a number 3 first, to which I agreed, and for her to leave some hair on top - not totally shaved. We agreed that would be about a finger length of hair left on top. She also shaved around my ears, similar to a military style cut. Overall, she did what I asked for, was really pleasant, and I thought she did a very good job.

They employees are great and love going here for haircuts with my kids and myself but I went there yesterday to get some rose gold highlights and paid 175 for them but what i got was nothing like I wanted and can't even see the color just barely see the highlights and it was a miscommunication between me and the employe and I could tell she was deeply sorry for me not getting exactly what I wanted I could feel that she really cared and I'm not mad at her she's great with kids and people she just told me if I am looking for that specific color to go to a different salon in the nicest way possible I am down from it not coming out the way I hoped but like I said lack of communication not her fault I will continue to go there with my kids and myself...
