To Whom It May Concern,
I was absolutely appalled by the lack of mask usage and social distancing by both the store employees and the customers in your Champaign store at 2102 N Prospect Ave, Champaign, IL 61822-1231.
Today I witnessed an Target store employee walk around without a mask properly on, while holding merchandise. Her nose was completely exposed. Store employees came within 6 feet of me, and a security guard stationed at the front of the store walked within 2 feet of me.This is inexcusable during a global pandemic.
During the entirety of my trip, customers and employees ignored the social distancing floor stickers and the one-way flow of traffic signs. Several times other customers came within my personal space because the store was too crowded to properly social distance.
Several customers (more than 5) did not have masks.I witnessed, several times, unmasked customers walk within employees' line of sight, with no word from the employees to wear a mask. In one horrific instance, I watched a customer put her unmasked face up to an infant's onesie. As a possible asymptomatic carrier, this Target store's callous ignorance of guidelines on COVID-19 prevention could very well lead to the death of an infant.
I am sincerely concerned, disappointed, disgusted, and frankly scared at the blatant disregard for the safety of customers and staff that I witnessed in this store today. A pandemic is not the time to be callous and inconsiderate. People are dying.
Please, please actually institute some sort of maximum customer occupancy, block off aisles, space out checkout lines and train employees to wear a mask and what social distancing means.
How many more deaths will make this a problem for your store? Will you wait until there's a COVID-19 outbreak traced back to this location to actually enact safety measures?
I will certainly be letting my coworkers, friends, and neighbors know about the overt danger this store presents. They have a right to know that Target is too dangerous for them and their families to shop in. A global pandemic...
Read moreIt is most definitely a Target.
The floors are white, the walls are red, the lights are all lit up.
They have most of your typial every day life needs inside of this store including some clothing. If you can't find what you need here there are a few places nearby that will cover you.
The starbucks is at the front entrance when you walk inside of Target. You can't miss it unless you are facing left when you walk in. (Look right.)
The shopping carts are in good condition and the shelves are stocked.
The people shopping inside actually form little chat groups in the corners of the stores a lot. But at least they don't clog up the lanes.
I was surprized to find a cell phone dealership inside of this store complete with lots of cell phone cases and accessories for phones.
Their food section was a little on the light side but you can still find some fruits and veggies here. As well as yogurt if Walmart runs out.
The same service you would expect...
Read moreI love this Target, however, tonight when I specifically went to purchase a 2 quart crock pot I couldn’t find anyone to help me. There were the displays but none stocked on the shelf. I had first used the red phone to get assistance and it was a teenager that first came to help. She scanned the product code on the price sticker and said they were out of stock and would have some in by the 3rd. She seemed bothered and was casually trying to hide amongst the customers in her maroon space dye sweatshirt, instead of a normal target red shirt. I was annoyed so I immediately went on the app and it said there were some in stock for purchase. I found a man that looked like a manager and he again scanned the product and said there were several in stock and just had to run to the back to get one. Turns out miss teeny bopper was just lazy and just wanted to seem like she was doing her job. Thank you to the man that helped us so I could make some dip for...
