The utter irony of this place.

For an organization that claims in its "Mission, Vision and Values" to serve the community through respect, equitable treatment, accountability, and such, the people who represent the store do not uphold these values.

For a patron to walk into your store and be completely ignored while others are acknowledged is abhorrent. During my visit, there was apparent bias on who was acknowledged and who was not. I am a woman of darker skin tone, and never once did any of the four Caucasian women standing at the counter say a word to me as I walked in. A Caucasian man walked in after me and was immediately acknowledged. Additionally, patron after patron (all Caucasian) was acknowledged as they entered and left -- "thank you for coming in." When I left, not one word.

I went in there on a Sunday not knowing they are closed on Sundays. When I arrived, the front door was propped open and there were a few adults milling around, moving some items around the store. I was looking in the glass case for a minute or so before an associate noticed I was there. Then she rudely came up to me to kick me out, yelling at me, "we're closed, you can't be in here." I told them I walked in the as door as it was propped wide open so I assumed the store was open." Then she said they were getting ready for an event which is why the door was propped-- they were moving in some large items. They made me feel VERY uncomfortable, their approach was very harsh and they were rushing to push me out-- I was holding my infant son so it was obvious I wasn't trying to steal anything. That was my first time going in there and I've never had any desire to return....

Used to love this outfit, but no more. Seems change of management or staff has created grumpy un-friendly environment. They no longer have electronic gadgets, which was primary stuff I buy.

Also used to be great for new homes with complete furniture sets. We just bought new house in Mesa and came here to get furniture. Not a single table, chair or cabinet to be found! Gonna go elsewhere...
