Cathedral Church of St. Luke & St. Paul — Attraction in Charleston

This is a beautiful cathedral. The interior is spacious and well kept, staffed by some very knowledgeable and friendly clergy, right in the heart of Charleston. Huge stained glass portraits, gold adornments on pillars, and a historic graveyard to boot. There is a playground area, and during service the children are taken out for a short while.

Booklets with huge amounts of information in the sidebars are given out on arrival, and they follow the docket perfectly.

The congregation is the perfect amount of friendly, and won't try to approach you if you seem occupied or uninterested.
