I have been to SEWE many times over the last 30+ years. This is probably my last year attending. The affordable limited screen prints and other artwork are not available anymore. Marion Square animal displays and the Brittlebank Park animal exhibits are great and should all be free. Otherwise, SEWE is a very high priced hunting themed crafts sale with extravagant expensive artwork that is untouchable by normal people. And the shuttles between the different venues are unreliable and unorganized. Charleston is a city with poorly maintained roads and infrastructure and little room...

Have been going to this event in Charleston for years and have slowly watched it decline. Packing more vendors into less space, charging for more and more items and services than ever before, and terrible management of the gaillard venue. To include a pocket knife check, which makes no sense when knives and guns are available for purchase inside. Less events at Marion square and brittlebank as well. I took a guest this year, as it was their first time attending, and do not think I will be going back. Thoroughly disappointed with what was once a...

They continue to reduce the number of venues and try to cram more vendors in the areas. Gaillard was a disaster. Security was a joke with taking people's knives upon entry and you could purchase knives and guns during the exhibits. So many people in the exhibit hall that you really could not look at wares without either stepping on others or being stepped on. Very disappointed. We have been going for years and probably will not...
