While visiting uptown we decided to stop at 7th street market for the variety of food options. I chose Mad Dash and I was impressed. The food was delicious. I ordered a chicken sandwich for me and it was so crispy I even kept the pickles on my sandwich which I typically remove but these were so crunchy I chose to keep them on. The inside was perfect on the sandwich just the right amount of juicy. The fries were nice and crispy I had to rub some salt off but other than that they were good. My little ones enjoyed the wings and fries I order for them. I look forward to giving this place another try.

Simple eats. Very Unassuming spot in 7th street station. I ordered the Mad Pattie Melt which was yummy. The bread was a robust and chewy sourdough buttered to perfection. You could see the golden hue of the butter encased within the slice. A hearty helping of cheddar cheese and a seasoned patty with grilled onions. I would have liked a smoother melty cheese but the flavor profile and seasoning were delicious. There's also a heap of fries covered in sea salt that was fresh and piping hot. Absolutely, delicious.

Had a long layover in Charlotte and decided to explore the city. Wanted something light to snack on and ordered a side of fries which I customized with onions and jalapenos. The service was amazing! The lady working the counter was very attentive and helpful explaining my options! The fries were cooked to order and were AMAZING!!! Fresh cut, and perfectly seasoned and even more importantly they were NOT greasy!!! Highly recommend if you are in the area! Support small business!

Terrible experience at Mad Dash. Unfortunately, I failed to check the reviews before making a purchase. We stopped by 7th St Mkt for lunch—there weren’t many options open, so we decided to try Mad Dash.

We ordered the buttermilk chicken sandwich, a smash burger, and wings, totaling $48. It took nearly an hour to receive our food—and this was during lunch!

The chicken sandwich was burnt, the burger was missing lettuce, tomato, and bacon, and the wings were cold and tasteless. The entire experience was a disaster.

I’m always shocked that businesses like this get enough new traffic to stay open. I’m even contemplating disputing the charge with my CC company—this felt like a complete robbery.

I will...

I was really let down by our visit. We ordered the patty melt, chicken sandwich, kids’ chicken bites, and two cheeseburgers, along with fries, coleslaw, and chips. Honestly, the only things we enjoyed were the fries and chips.

The chicken sandwich had barely any chicken, and what was there was tough and overcooked. The same goes for the chicken bites—so tough that my kids couldn’t eat them. The patty melt was dry and lacked flavor, and while the cheeseburgers were okay, they weren’t anything special.

We came here expecting a great experience based on the reviews, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the hype. I don’t plan on...
