This is a great spot for a variety of different foods, snacks, desserts, smoothies, coffee etc. There is a wine business, gourmet cheese spot, & a shop selling different items. This is a place you'll need to visit a few times in order to taste every restaurant. I order from Mad Dash the Mad Dash Angus Burger w/ lettuce, tomato, cheese, friend egg, & aioli sauce. It was really good however my top bioche bun was toasted a little too long so it wasn't soft. Order the onion rings which were so good I didn't need ketchup. The 8 lemon peppered wings with their homemade ranch was really good too. They were different & better from the wings you'd get at a Buffalo Wild Wings or East Coast Wings. Jimmy Pearl's Sorrel Punch is tasty. The shrimp, greens, fried fish & fish sandwich are good too! Staff is friendly. Hip Hop Smoothie is different from what I've seen before and I was pleasantly surprised. The owner is friendly and helped me figure out what I might like since I'm not a smoothie drinker. This was my second visit.. the first visit I was in food heaven & order from about 4 places. 🤣 However, I've got to go back a few more times so I can try EV-ER-Y-THING! 🤷🏽‍♀️ There are tables in the center of the floor for seating & some seating in front of the actual food spots. Oh, located next to ImaginOn, the rail & 7th street parking garage. Any of the businesses can validate your parking ticket which covers the first...

I've been here about 2 times with a friend and always have a good time. This is tucked right beside college st so unless you're really looking for this place, you can easily miss it. It's a small food hall. They have a few good options from chicken, pizza, deli, and a couple of bars and wine spots. They also have some novelty shops there where they sell a lot of Charlotte keepsake. It's always a nice time when I go. We came on a Sunday, and they were surprisingly empty. Just went for a drink. Most of the restaurant shops there were closed so maybe that's why they were empty. None the less, it's def. A must try place. They do have a parking deck right beside the building, and they validate parking, which is a plus. They have clean restrooms, and all employees are super polite. Whenever I'm in the area, this is a place...

This is a great little market with several different shops and restaurants that you don't see everywhere. Eclectic crowd and establishment. The music was on point with classy remakes of hits from the 80s and 90s. It definitely has an urban/alternative vibe. I had breakfast at The Yolk. I had a western omelette (choice of 3 add-ons....sausage/bacon/cheese) with toast. The cheese ended up being real stringy which gave the omelette a rubbery taste but it was delicious overall. It was a little pricey at $12 for the omelette and a whopping $4 for a 16 fl.oz bottle of Natalie's Orange Juice. The staff were pleasant and efficient. That being said, a different kind of cheese and better prices would surely earn 5 stars from me. Thanks for a pleasant Sunday...

Note: This review is for Uptown Yolk, NOT 7th Street Market as an entity. 4-stars instead of 5 only because they got our overall order wrong on two notes (the type of toast we requested and they didn’t put the pecans we asked for on the Belgian waffle). Also, the waffle is a little dry, and the shrimp and grits lacked salt. The chicken wings that came with the waffles were DIVINE — well seasoned and moist! The grits were saved by the well-seasoned shrimp and this green sauce they drizzled over the grits. Service-wise, the food came out within 15 minutes of ordering and the young ladies working the counter were very sweet. I’d go back and try their egg white omelette next time. With a mimosa from Assorted.
