Gisoo Salon — Attraction in Charlotte

Got all my hair cut off when that is not what i asked For.I specifically stated it needs to cover my neck tattoo!!Left out with my tattoo showing🤦🏽‍♀️They said in the photos you can’t see your tattoo lol of course you can’t my hoodie was on and my head was bent come which would cover it. Left out with my roots lighter then my ends which people asked if i box colored my hair. Told her i used color fix two days prior which is why my roots are lighter so you would need to use color that would cover that.Called salon saying i had To leave on a family trip and wanted it fixed asap and was told they would call me back they called me after the salon closed when there was no time left to fix my hair had to go to another salon to have it fixed. Refused to give my money back offered to give me a credit why would i want To return somewhere that cut all my hair off and colored it terrible. Would not recommend at all. I even Emailed them they never even responded. Oh and they asked me for receipts for getting my hair fixed somewhere?? Why on earth would they need that! Now I’m stuck with having short hair first time in my life for months on end until it grows back this is not something that can be fixed.had to go to two hair salons after dropping 200 dollars for terrible results to spend more money...

I can not rave about this salon enough! Everything from requesting an appointment through Yelp to the consultation with my stylist (Alex) to the cut itself was outstanding.

First, let me just say that Alex took such good care of me. I originally came in thinking that I was going to do a hair donation. She was kind enough to straighten my hair beforehand to optimize for the length. After measuring and seeing what the final length would be, we talked it through, and I ended up deciding to wait a few months to do the donation and settled on a trim for today. She was so patient the whole time and answered all of my questions.

Next, was the hair wash. Oh. Em. Gee. This was by far my favorite part. I would come back and pay just to have my hair washed here. It was basically a scalp massage with hot towel action. The sinks were comfortable too, which is a first for me.

Finally, the trim and styling at the end was great. I just sat and read my book while Alex did her magic. I told her I was going to a wedding later today and that it might rain, so she thoughtfully used product that would protect me from the humidity.

For someone who goes to the hair dresser once every other year, I can't believe that I'm saying this, but I can't wait to go back...

I found Gisoo Salon on Yelp after living in Charlotte for 1 year and a few months! The whole time I’ve been here I have been searching for a salon that I could trust with my hair. I was born and raised in North Jersey and Jersey is known for having the best hair stylists/ salons so I am very picky about my hair. I came across this salon and after looking at the pictures of their advertised work, I knew this salon was where I wanted to get my hair done. Every clients hair photo that stood out to me was Anneke’s work. I immediately booked an appointment for her to cut my hair. During my visit she took her time and consulted with me how I wanted my hair cut and where I want to see it grow within the next year. She was so sweet and patient and once I saw the finished product I could not stop smiling! She did a terrific job and I scheduled my next appointment with her for November for another haircut.
