I took a gamble and commuted over an hour to visit here with my son and his buddy today after researching and finding Ray's Splash Planet online. This facility far exceeded my expectations. The dressing rooms and facility itself was clean and updated. It was $35 for all three of us (out of city residents) to swim/play all day which isn't even one ticket at other water parks. We have been to our fair share of water parks, splash pads, etc. and I have never experienced lifeguards and staff remain so continuously attentive and alert in their positions. Not once did I see a lifeguard distracted by their cell phones, talking to each other, nothing of the sort. I noticed the staff rotated positions frequently, took safety checks in their zones, and were quick to act in situations to prevent accidents or injury. As a parent, I value and appreciate these proactive practices so much. I would definitely recommend this place and will return in the future.

The staff was great at the welcome desk. Informative and friendly. The life guards were incredibly vigilant and all over the whistles to keep the kids in line. I actually appreciated their attentiveness. The issues I had was an overall lack of parking. I parked up near the apartments where I got a ticket because I didn’t see the sign about residential parking only. There was standing room only around the pool as families were putting towels and bags on entire sections of chairs claiming them for hours. The lockers need your own personal lock which was a bummer as there was no good place to put your valuables and we didn’t have a lock. The pool is smaller than other community centers and the cost was a bit pricey for visitors from out of state. $35 for 2 kids and an adult. Overall the kids had fun and the staff kept it safe.

I did a quick search because my family (who traveled from NJ) came to NC for a family vacation. This spot showed up on Google and we decided to go. But I'm glad i called first because we went on a Monday and it opened at 4pm to 7:30pm. But we didn't get inside until 5pm because they were waiting for the thunderstorm to pass (i understand caution) . In any case, my family of 11 had a great time and the kids enjoyed themselves. It was NOT BUSY AT ALL which was awesome. $10 for children, $15 for adults, $5 if you're going inside but not in the water. 4ft was the max depth of the water. They had a slide, lazy river, and a mini obstacle course. The lifeguards and staff (which were mainly teens) were kool and helpful. I would totally recommend this spot for the kiddos.

We went to this place for kids friend birthday party. It’s an indoor water park. Great for $15 ticket but too crowded and less parking space. We had to look around a lot and even the host did t find the spot to park their car. They have a playground outside and overflow parking as well but that was also full. We parked a few block away. It had family locker room along with me s and women locker room, bring your own locks. They almost forgot to give my gift to the host, I went and looked for it. Good thing you can get the party food from outside. But nice place for kids to play in lazy pool, small and big slides and other play area. It’s just quite small for the crowd that was there. Wish Charlotte had more of these kinds of water playgrounds with bigger space.

My first impression walking up was not good. However, not judging a book by its cover, I came in for a birthday party my 8yr old son was invited to. The facility was very crowded but the staff were trying their hardest to accommodate everyone. I don’t fault staff for that, I would rather them try to help rather than not care. The pool area is fun for kids of all ages. I saw plenty of every age. The ONLY negative thing I would say is that it is extremely hot and humid inside. There was at least one 6ft tall fan blowing from one side which was nice but it’s only local air movement. Overall I am/was impressed and would recommend this place to others. The air circulation or lack of is the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars.

Just went to another party and they really need to extend room times to the length of the entire party, it's just not enough time. I wouldn't really recommend due to this reason. Other than that the kids Loves It ........ Had my daughter 6th birthday party here, the kids really enjoyed the water play they had fun, I really wish they would revamp the way they do parties, they only give you 10min to set up for the party and the hour in the room goes so fast you don't have time for gift openings. But overall my daughter enjoyed her day and that's all that matters....More pics to come...
