Small Bar — Restaurant in Charlotte

I'm not one to normally leave reviews, but what I experienced here was absolutely ridiculous.

I went here for a drink last night with my cousin following a show at the Underground. We began chatting with two gentleman sitting at the bar. One of them got up to use the restroom and the other pointed in his general direction while talking about him to another bar patron. The owner, Fernando, approached us (who was so plastered he was slurring his words and could barely hold himself up) and started berating this guy about why he made the pointing gesture. I calmly told him "he was just talking about his friend, that's all." He proceeded to look at both my cousin and I individually - two young, mid-twenties females, by the way - stuck his finger in our faces and told us to shut up several times, and continued to harass this guy who had literally done nothing aside from point at his friend. Even the bartender on staff tried to get him to leave us alone and he responded by kicking all of us out. By the look on her face I'm sure this wasn't the first time she's had to deal with him acting like that.

Anyways, I advise you NOT to spend your money here. The way the owner treated us last night was inexcusable. He is sloppy, careless, and extremely disrespectful. It's disheartening to witness such a lack of professionalism from the person in charge. REAL men don't speak down to women - I hope for his employees sake that he gets it together....

Looks can be deceiving. While our group was ordering, one of our members went to the bathroom, they harassed her saying she wasn't 21, that she hadn't ordered anything and wasn't allowed to use the bathroom. After she said she was with us they absolutely mocked her and embarrassed her to the whole crowd and told her she had to go home with the bartender that night???

The worst part is, when we stepped outside the closed the metal shutters as if they were closed and she had to leave out another door!

An absolutely sketchy and disgusting establishment.

We stopped here on our way to the Australian Pink Floyd cover band while we were walking. It's a small dive bar with a full service bar and with a nice outdoor seating area. It was nice cool and a mellow place to chill out before the show. If and when I go to my next venue we will definitely...
