This is the ikea blvd store I believe. I went to four that day. I started with customer service the night before. They told me they could tell the stock in a store. They did schedule me an appointment and I thought that the purchase of my iPhone would be waiting! Wrong! That was at the Huntersville store. They were very nice. But they didnāt have the phone I wanted nor one even close. We looked up where their stores were and I was off. The next two were UPS/ Spectrum stores. Where you just send stuff back to spectrum. Not a store with phones. Let me explain. SPECTRUM STORES CAN NOT CALL EACH OTHER TO CHECK MERCHANDISE ON HAND AND NEITHER CAN YOU OR THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE. You have to go in person. Very frustrating! You ask why didnāt you order one on their website for their famous delivery? I have two accounts with spectrum. Two services at two different addresses. My mobile phones are attached where I used to live at 100% of the time. Now Iām at my other property more. I asked them to send my phone there. That is not policy. You can only send to the location where they were first billed to. Even though their billing is paperless and is registered to my āvacationā house now. So the only way to get an over night phone was to get in my car and drive over a hundred miles to a spectrum store to get a phone instead of in 3 days. And then I would have had to be there to sign. Hence, the four stores. The salesperson at the IKEA store was wonderful and I ended up getting my husbands phone there. Important to note here. This stupid phone wasnāt even for myself. All the spectrum people I met at the four locations and the people in the parking lots I asked for help were very nice. Except for the rude...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went to this location to return my equipment and deactivate my account last month. After waiting in line I was told by an employee working that āthey donāt take the equipment onsite, I must go and take it to a UPS store and return it there, and once I do my account will be closed.ā
This was two weeks ago and Spectrum just emailed me saying my bill is coming up soon. I called customer service to ask why I received this email since I returned my equipment last month.
According to the agent on the phone, Any store can receive and deactivate accounts onsite, and she was Shocked that an employee had told me that they couldnāt. Even better, the account wasnāt deactivated automatically when returning the equipment like I was told by the store employee, and now Iām having to pay another month just to finally be rid of these jokers. Itās not only the rude and thoughtless customer service you receive from the staff itās the fact that although I have an account with Spectrum I have to give them ALL of my personal identifiers; enter a FULL social security number in the keypad, allow them to take a pic of the front and back of my drivers license, verify my address for the card, etc. Then itās all the charges for a phone that doesnāt work because I owned it longer than 14 days, which feels like a scam. They give you the same phone that doesnāt work and charge you twice! Itās time for a new provider. I hate...
