American Deli — Restaurant in Charlotte

I do DoorDash on the side. A lot of people order from here, so I decided to try it. I ordered the garlic parmesan wings combo which comes with fries and a drink.

Yuck! The chicken was not seasoned at all. OMG, the garlic parmesan sauce that was put all over the wings was DISGUSTING. I think they made it from scratch. I didn't taste like garlic or parmesan. The taste is indescribable for the most part. It was like sweet white sauce. I tried to add garlic powder to them when I got home to try to make it eatable. I was so nasty that nothing I did helped. I always get garlic parmesan wing when I go to spots with wing options. There were the WORST I have ever had in my life. It should be against the law to sell these.

The fries were good with the seasoning salt that I added. My drink was a lemonade/peach mix at my request. These two offers made my purchase not a complete waste of money BUT I will NEVER...

So I stopped by American deli on my lunch break I ordered the wings (house honey mustard)and fries combo I was on a lunch break so I asked the cashier how long would it be she said around 5 minutes I set up the table and waited it was almost 10 minutes and then I got up to see if it was ready and she said yeah it was ready a long time ago that kind of flustered me because I didn't hear her call my number or anything. So I took my order and left when I got back to my job I was ready to eat to my surprise there was no seasoning on the fries and the wings were extra small luckily I asked her for ketchup and ranch dressing overall it was okay the flavor on the wings were pretty good but needed a little bit more sauce the fries are hot and crispy but again...

The food here is always so good but this was the first time I've had customer service issues. Both of the ladies in the front were rude and dismissive. When my order came wrong, I politely told them that and the hispanic lady snatched my food out of my hand to see if I was lying. Told me they would fix it and it would be 10 minutes. She comes back with my food for the second time and it's missing my fries. I politely said it again and she snatched it again, thinking I was lying to get free food. She checked it and took it to the cooks, telling me it was a 5 minute wait. Waited another 10 just for them to get me little to no ranch when I paid for extra. Tonight's experience wasn't good at all but the food still wasn't bad, no matter how many times...
