Had good experience with business a month ago with the replacement of my cellphone screen.... But a month later I bring it back with apparent defect where the screen looks like two layers are separating... Tech tells me that he sees the problem but the manufacturer will not stand behind their product and nothing he can do .... Smh. $200+ for a defective screen has me wishing I didn't recommend this business now to many of my friends..... Not good business practice.
RESPONSE to Owner: Nice try......The technician agree with me that it seem to be a defective screen and made no mention of possible water damage.....It looks like I have a poorly applied screen protector and it has air between to layers of the screen. To clarify, it does not have a screen protector on it....He stated that it was cosmetic and phone works fine...so nothing he could do....I guess the next time I buy a car and the clear-coat starts coming off they won't do anything about it because it is cosmetic...smh! This is just wrong to charge hundreds of dollars for what turns out to be something the technician says he has never seen before...but now says after the fact that it is water damage......works great....looks terrible...but that's OK? Nope
Hopefully I am not beating a dead horse he and your company will make this right?!?!
I have added a picture to show the "3 bearly seeing dots" Currently up to 8 that range from 2mm to 5mm across......All of which were there when I visited last week.....Showing 6 in picture....
UPDATE : 10/4/17 Owner contacted me and agreed to replace screen at no charge..... I will now upgrade my rating to a 4 for doing the right thing and standing behind the warranty... They also gave me a new 30 day warranty on the new...
Read moreI’ve been to this shop several times in the past month… took my phone initially because there was issue charging. They said my port needed to be cleaned. Did that. Phone lasted literally a week. $25 Took it back: now say I need new charging port and battery. With no updates, I had to call several times to check in over a week what was going on. $145 Picked up the phone and They broke my vibration motor. Had it home for only an hour and it shut off after 2 minutes of consistent use. They said they Ordered a replacement vibrator and broke that one too… they said they needed to sauter a part and that the phone would need to be sent off and the cost an additional $150 to what I’ve already spent. I told them forget it and I picked it up with the phone on 0% with a brand new battery… I requested a refund and was reimbursed -$75 for “labor” Went to an ifixit shop and they opened it in front of me to find the wrong type of battery in the phone with wrong size screws that did not fit for connection and the very damaged vibrator motor and connector to it… Went back to the Mr. fixit for them to get the proper battery. Phone is currently working but WITHOUT vibration. As a business that damaged my property this full service should have been free. They did not even offer to fix it again after damaging the new vibrator motor they supposedly ordered to fix my original they damaged. They apologized but I feel they are not as knowledgeable or professional. Way too much back and forth for what should have been...

Edit 7/10/20: Manager has been nice and contacted me. The guy who I talked to had the customer service of a mashed potato with no seasoning, but they have promised to fix everything so far.
USING NON-OEM PARTS TO REPAIR PHONES AT HIGHER PRICES THAN ADVERTISED.
Went to the store after doing research that they use original parts in their battery repairs. First off, price was more expensive than advertised on the site for a battery repair ($80 vs $70), they cracked my back glass (and offered to replace it for free), put pry marks into the aluminum on the sides, did a poor job of securing the back glass back on with the adhesive and replaced my battery with a non-original battery. Almost every part of the web page is a lie, and as I told them about the price difference their response was "we have been trying to tell our boss this but we do not have access to the site." Like this has been an ongoing issue. They have a no refund policy (probably because they operate on misleading customers), unless you talk to the manager, so I am stuck with a more expensive repair to get a cheaper quality battery until I get to. (The after market battery sells for $8 compared to an OEM one that's $30 from iFixit.) I hate being a Karen, I have much better things to do, but this was an awful experience....
