How does one capture memories with a promise for tomorrow? An engagement ring, of course! I was drawn to Lynn's studio and store after a summer's walk through the downtown Mall in Charlottesville. I knew rather early in my relationship that I intended to marry my girlfriend so the idea of a ring was simmering in the back of my mind. Taken by some of the designs seen in the window, I stopped in for a casual conversation. After a chat about my better half, it was obvious that Lynne understood my intent. Soon after a quick introduction to my girlfriend, Lynne provided some designs and suggestions. As our relationship is and has been one found later in life, I wanted something timeless and traditional. Rather than a diamond, Lynne gave me a few different options. I fell in love with Tourmaline and upon seeing the various colorings of the gem, I knew it was to be the centerpiece to what will become an heirloom. Heirloom? Indeed! Lynne was able to incorporate two diamond into the ring, diamonds which were left to me upon my grandmother's. Lynne understood the importance of the familial connection and she designed a stunning gift that embodies an eternal promise, one that now rests on my fiancé's ring finger. Wonderful and Unique. We just discovered this shop. Like many of our friends we are constantly looking for gifts that matter, that are beautiful affordable and hopefully somewhat unique. We found Lynne Goldman's on the downtown mall in Charlottesville and we found a way to avoid having to settle for the lower quality mass produced stuff all the malls seem to carry.
