I recently had the unfortunate experience of visiting the AMC Cherry Hill theater, and let me tell you, it was an absolute nightmare. This establishment is in desperate need of hiring more staff for their cleaning shift because the condition of the place was beyond appalling.
From the moment I stepped inside, I couldn't help but notice that the floors were disgustingly sticky. It felt like walking through a sea of spilled drinks and crushed candies. No matter where I went, the stickiness followed me like a faithful companion, clinging to the soles of my shoes. It was genuinely revolting and made me question the last time they bothered to mop the floors.
But the sticky floors were just the tip of the iceberg. As I ventured into the restroom, I was greeted with an unsightly surprise. Broken glass scattered across the women’s restroom floor, creating a hazardous environment for unsuspecting patrons. It's utterly unacceptable for a movie theater to have such blatant disregard for the safety of its customers. I can't even imagine how the cleaning staff could have overlooked this. The women's restroom was a sight that will forever haunt my nightmares. Someone had spilled an entire soda in there, and instead of promptly cleaning it up, the staff seemed content to let it sit there and fester. The restroom’s stench was unbearable, and it was evident that no one had tried to address the issue. The lack of basic hygiene and cleanliness was absolutely appalling.
To add insult to injury, the handicap stall, along with many others, had no toilet paper. How can a movie theater, a place where people come to relax and enjoy themselves, fail so miserably at providing something as basic as toilet paper? It's a fundamental necessity that should never be overlooked, yet this place managed to do just that.
This movie theater is an absolute disgrace. The lack of cleanliness, broken glass, sticky floors, and neglect of basic amenities like toilet paper are clear indicators of the sheer incompetence and negligence of the management. I implore anyone reading this review to steer clear of this dumpster fire of a theater. Save yourself the frustration and disappointment and find an establishment that actually values the comfort and safety of...
Read moreGood evening Family. I visited this location for the second time. I have visited previously in my past.. I decided to see Good Fortune with Keanu Reeves and Keke Palmer. I arrived and parked in the huge parking lot. They also have handicapped spaces. After all, they have 24 auditoriums. Mine was Auditorium 19, seat was G18.. I showed my confirmation# when I arrived. They scanned the bar code on my phone. Then it was off to the rest room. Rest room is huge and they have stalls on both sides. The rest room was clean and neat. The theater is simply Beautiful, more beautiful than it was in the past.. I decided on pretzel bites when I arrived at the concession stand. They have a lot of different kinds. I decided on unsalted. It took awhile for it to be ready. I also ordered a small popcorn, no drink. Arianna, whose name is spelled differently waited on me. She was nice and polite. While I waited, I went over so they can update my rewards. While they were doing that in customer service, I continued to wait for the pretzel bites. When I was finished with customer service, I went over and received my pretzel bites. I headed to Auditorium 19, where my seat is G18. I paid for my seat and food with the gift card Yolanda gave me. Yolanda is my good friend. The gift card has a $50.00 value. When I arrived in Auditorium 19, I found my seat, G18. I then sat down and arranged my food and my blanket. Then, alas, I looked at the seat and it did not recline. I was livid!!!! I wanted to recline and relax. I didn't want to sit regular since I can do that at home.. I thought about leaving but since I had already paid for my seat, I stayed. Good Fortune was ok. I had an ok experience. Would have been better with the high back rocker seats so you can lay back and enjoy the movie. AMC should take one Auditorium at a time and rehab it, put new reclining chairs in and take the antique chairs out. Workout, be healthy, fit and Fabulous. Why don't they have reclining seats here in Cherry Hill? AMC in Deptford does. I paid $9.59 for a senior ticket on-line, a matinee...
Read moreOne of the worst movie experiences I ever had and will never return.
First, they were just letting people through. There were so many teenagers causing a scene that they didn’t even check my ticket. Then while waiting in line a huge fight broke out between like 6-10 teenage girls and 4 grown men with tasers and security gear couldn’t get them under control. Then when I was getting a soda and popcorn I let the concession stand worker know that someone had left candy on the counter and that it wasnt mine. she then rang me up for it after she had walked away twice to pay attention to the teenagers walking down the hallway because she was so distracted. after i explained once again the candy wasnt mine and i didnt want it, she started giving me attitude and telling me to put the candy back. it felt like i was being scolded and it was just flat out rude. i was just trying to let her know someone left it there and that it wasnt mine. she told me to put it back 3 times and i even said "i dont know where to put it i didnt pick this out" she repeats "just put it back" 2 more times while rudely gesturing behind me until i just turned around and put it on a random hook so we could move on with the transaction that clearly neither of us wanted to be a part of anymore. not to mention i never got my popcorn that was paid for because the concession stand worker was so rude and for aome reason mad at me for not wanting candy i never asked for??? THEN kids were running in and out of the theater and lighting up their phones and yelling curse words because they thought they were being funny. they kicked out 1 of the many groups of loud kids. the atmosphere in this theater was chaotic and out of control. the theater should not host $4 nights if they dont have the staff to maintain the crowd. theater screens are dusty too and trash and food laying all over the floor. this place is a nightmare, seats also suck. dont waste your money here. ill be spending more money at a nicer theater if i ever see a movie in...
