Whether you’re an upcoming bride, have a special occasion, or just want to add a little “oomph” to your every hair style - stop looking, stop over-googling, Lira is your gal!
I had the amazing opportunity to work with Lira on my wedding day. I had planned a small wedding during COVID times and decided to get ready by myself in the morning. Despite living an hour away from her studio, she drove the distance early in the morning to see me.
My mother was coming by a little later and my ladies were meeting me later in the day. At 8AM, she was not only my hair dresser but also my friend, substitute bridesmaid, and therapist. She’s quirky, funny, and oh so lovely. She come in with a big bag on her shoulder with all the gear she needed ready to work. We figured out the best setup – moved a large hallway mirror, a dining chair, and propped by next to a large window. It felt like I was in the studio.
Even until the morning I had difficulties deciding if I should keep my hair down and curled or in a nice updo. Despite my hesitation, she convinced me to have an updo given the summer heat and wedding theme. You see, almost every time I had previously entered a hair salon, I always walk out sad and upset, feeling like a Shirley Temple look-alike or an old woman with a beehive on her head. As she waved her magic curling wand, she shared engaging stories and laughs to help me unwind before the busy and chaotic day. She was very accommodating and patient with my requests and minor changes throughout the procedure. Haha I’m quite a hands-on perfectionist. After a whirlwind of hair combing, curling, pinning, and hair spray, I was so excited to see the result. She found the perfect updo, showing not a 50s house-wife, but rather a beautiful version of myself.
I am very thrilled with how comfortable I was throughout my wedding day and how amazing my photographs came out. Prior to the wedding day, I did not have a bridal trial. All I did was share a few internet images as to what I had in mind.
If I haven’t convinced you yet, her website portfolio and social media photos speak for themselves. She’s efficient, highly experienced, and can make any hair into a masterpiece. It will look flawless and stay that way for the rest of the day.

Read moreI strongly advise against seeking balayage services from Lira at Lira Guzi Salon. Unfortunately, my recent experience has left my hair severely damaged. She ruined my hair for my wedding, which is weeks away.
Lira allowed my hair to process in bleach for over 50 minutes without proper monitoring, despite my increasing anxiety about the situation. She eventually removed the bottom foils but left the top foils in place, neglecting to check the overall processing. This lack of attention, exacerbated by her double-booking, resulted in significant damage to my hair, just weeks before my wedding.
Following the service, I consulted a licensed professional who confirmed that my hair is overprocessed, damaged, and exhibits extreme breakage. I now face the necessity of having several inches cut off, and the haircut itself is uneven. This experience has been emotionally distressing and has left me questioning how she remains in business.
Lira presents herself as a master stylist with 26 years of experience and attracts clients from out of state. However, a true master stylist would not make such basic processing errors. She has not taken responsibility for her actions or addressed concerns regarding processing guidelines and product safety. In fact, she even asked, "How did your hair get damaged?" which feels disingenuous.
I have noted a pattern in her responses to other negative reviews, where she claims that clients were “extremely happy” and that she provided the desired results. However, my experience has been quite the opposite. She has refused to offer any form of compensation for the damage caused.
I urge potential clients to reconsider before choosing this salon. Please take my experience into account to avoid similar issues. I cannot tell you how much I regret my decision...
Read moreI absolutely DO NOT recommend going here. I have never been treated with so much disrespect and rudeness in my life.
I got an updo hairstyle and one girl was curling my hair to get it started before the owner of this salon did the actual updo. The first girl was nice and wanted to make sure I was comfortable. However the owner came over and yelled at the girl and said “I don’t know why you never listen.” The owner took over and was throwing my hair in my face as she curled my hair. She asked to see what I wanted again and I said a middle part higher ponytail. She said that was not possible extremely rudely and said “show me the exact picture. I don’t want to redo it.” I showed her multiple pictures of it done and said I just wanted it a tad higher. She said she needed to see an exact picture of it higher and said it very nasty. She repeatidly said it wasn’t possible to do a higher ponytail middle part. I told her she was being rude because quite honestly I did not understand why I was being yelled at for a service I am paying $150 for. She said “I have never been called rude before. I do not work with people who call me rude. You have to apologize to me right now.” I literally had to say I’m sorry to her. I was belittled and completely disrespected. If I didn’t have to be at my event in the next hour, I would have gotten up and walked away right there. She knew the position I was in and knew she could continue being rude and disrespectful because my party was starting in the next hour.
I am SHOCKED that the owner was SO rude and disrespectful. Not only does she treat her employees like trash, she also treats her...
