Bought a Glock 26 recently which is my first gun purchase. The counter employee failed to tell me that I needed to do the DROS paperwork or come back to do it. I paid in full within two days of choosing the gun. Waited 10 days, went back to pick it up (since I was'nt' told otherwise) and was told the DROS part still needed to be completed, so I took care of that on this visit. I waited another 10 days and finally got my gun. Went back today to get more ammo. Super busy as usual at the gun counter, but saw about 5 red shirts behind counter. I took a number, like you're supposed to, and they soon called a number ahead of me. Then, all but 2 of the red shirts disappeared. I kept waiting. By now only I was waiting while the employees helped 2 people at the counter then two guys walked in without taking a number. The 2 employees at the counter were writing up gun purchases. At one point on of those employees looked up and asked one of the random guys that walked in after me if he needed help, that guy wanted ammo. The employee got him the ammo then went back to writing up the customer. Then the other employee finished his write up and the other random guy that had walked in went straight up to the employee and asked for and got help. And I'm just standing there like a big dummy for 25/30 minutes. I got fed up and left. Turner's, what's the deal? Why bother with the numbers? All employees should look around and see if there's people waiting at the counter before giving help randomly. If someone is waiting, the the employee should ask the person wanting help if they have a number!! So frustrating to wait at the counter. So busy all the time and some employees that just don't bother to do a good job. I've never really liked going there and found better prices on ammo elsewhere nearby. Goodbye Turners. It's not like...
Read moreWhen I see the overall rate for this store, I suddenly feel my experience couple days ago reasonable. First of all, this store is the cloest weapon shop to my home, good location. Second, I purchased my first three weapons at this store, overall speaking the experience was ok. I had met three different sales person based on my three visites, It was cool.
It was not that bad till couple days ago I met Gary, he is just not that motivated and seems not that into this work. I believe respect is given mutually, he did not show much respect to me initially, so I return the same but to the minimum threshold. Buying armor needs paperwork to be done, Gary is very sufficient on this part. After the paperwork has been printed out, he throwed the paperwork on the counter and pick up a pen, also throwed on top of the paperworks, looked at me, finger pointed to the part which I need to sign unpatiently. Yes, I know the process but it is not the best way to do business, I believe that we can do business in a more mutually repsectful way.
after the paperwork had been done, he brought the items to the cashier table and left, without saying nothing. The store was not busy at all at that time, no customers waiting at the counter. But check out man is very friendly, nice talk with him every single time.
I know this review is not gonna change much, since this store has a great location and proficient inventory. I also do not know whether I will shop here again because other sales people are nice.
I do not even know why I am even writing down this google...
Read moreThis is the worst turners I've been to. If you can make the drive - go to Rancho Cucamonga location for better service. The employees have such an arrogance about them regarding the guns. I was asking for a r700 tactical and the associate was standing in the corner dry firing it over and over and over and over. Then proceeded to argue with me that it's fine to dry fire in front of the customer that wants to buy it. of course its okay. It was the only one they had in stock- and he was using it like a toy when I was ready to purchase. Use a snap cap at home, don't do it in front of a customer whom has spent well over 5 thousand dollars with your company. I WILL NEVER BUY HERE AGAIN. Rude, lack of knowledge, always busy because they probably don't have adequate staff.
I asked to see a s&w 686 revolver and the gentleman said "who is that a gift for?" MYSELF. A female wanting a big gun oh my. Was so very rude my blood boiled.
Last thing, they price their ammo like idiots. A case of 7.62x59 austrian military surplus ammo with a wood box- they charged over 350 dollars more than ammo bros did without the box. I left and spent 335 at ammo bros for the same ammo, no box but I got 2 strips, so 2000 rounds and it was 350 less than turners. FAIL. Manager would not budge on price after showing him information on it. I even went back with my ammo bros receipt to try to get the ammo out of the moldy box- no. Never again.
Go to Rancho! Go...
