Girl’s night out at Afromeals with Chef Gabi!! First , it was so good being out with my girls again for some much needed laughs and togetherness and over good food that WE COOKED - it’s a yes for me❤️. We had an amazing time! Chef Gabi is awesome! She stayed in constant communication with me (via email and phone) to help me coordinate our private cooking class. Upon arrival, Chef and her prep partner Dawn had everything prepped and ready for us. Chef Gabi is warm and friendly and took time to explain each step of the process including proper use of tools for safety. Easy to follow directions, fresh ingredients and a talking history of the food we cooked made this a fun and inviting experience. We had a ball and the food tastes so good!!!!! Can’t wait to...

I ordered the recipe book ("Afromeals in 30 minutes") from Amazon and often reference it when I don't really know what to make for a meal. It's very affordable given the amount of recipes included in it and the time it saves me (And this is coming from a cheapskate lol). I'd like to say my favorites from the book are the fried rice, red stew, and spicy sauteed turkey recipes. Ironically I don't eat meat, but I replace the turkey with a faux meat/protein option (Gardein/Morning Star) and it works just as well. Often I'd just use the recipe on a veggie burger I chopped to pieces and add it to ramen or have it with some rice. This is truly a great product that I know I'll be using for...

I took a cooking class at my local library with Afromeals. I’m a vegan and was concerned about my options but the library provided me with the recipe to be sure I was okay with the ingredients and could bring items like my own butter. Chef Gabi went above and beyond to also provide mushrooms for me in place of chicken so I could partake in the whole class (which I was not expecting but so grateful for). She also ensured we had a clean cooking space and the proper safety instructions. She was educational with cooking practices as well as history and differentiations of African foods. The food was delicious!! I had a great time and can’t wait to take...

Had an amazing time at the Jamaican cooking class with AFROmeals! I went with my sisters and mom, and we had so much fun! Gabby was absolutely fantastic, she broke everything down step by step, made sure we all felt confident, and brought such great energy to the class. She had the music going while we cooked, which made the whole vibe even better. We made plantains, Jamaican spinach, jerk chicken, and Rasta pasta and it was all so good. Gabby even told us where to get the ingredients so we can make it again at home. I will 1000% be back, and I highly recommend AFROmeals for their cooking classes and catering. It’s a whole experience!
