Standing on the wooden platforms so close to Bridal Veil Falls was absolutely exhilarating—you can feel the raw power of the water pounding around you! The provided ponchos and footwear are lifesavers, but expect to still get splashed, which only adds to the thrill. The walkways are sturdy and well-maintained, and the staff was friendly, making sure everyone felt safe and comfortable. Read moreThe Cave of the Winds Lookout at Niagara Falls National Park is an unforgettable experience. There is an admission fee, which makes sense considering the tremendous upkeep required—every year the wooden decks are built and then deconstructed due to the winter weather.
That being said, it’s worth every penny. To stand just feet from the Bridal Veil Falls and feel the sheer power of the water crashing down around you is something no photo or video can ever capture. The energy and intensity of the falls truly have to be experienced in person.
